how do i post a vid on here??

simplest way to go about it is to create a You Tube account upload the video there and then link it.

There is a You Tube icon option in the post reply section, copy your address from You Tube and paste it in the window that pops up when you click the icon.

i did that and it wudnt let me :( inbox me on here please

I love Chopin as well - both the composer, and the vodka.

I am sooooooo glad that your piano is in tune (lame electric keyboard joke), and I love your musical interpretations. I'm fighting the urge to dictate the chord progressions onto a sheet of paper.

Here's a video of me playing a piece by Alexei Lebedev. It doesn't sound too far off from something Alexander Glazunov would compose. They're both romantic Russian composers I guess.
It's a shame that we had no access to a grand piano at the time (and an even greater shame that the entire beginning of the piece got cut off).
Either way, here is me, playing the tuba.

sounds lovely. the solo part around 2:50 sounded especially great.

that tuba looks damn hard to play! i am not familiar with that composer, but the piece sounds moody and dark to me. which is also cool.

A grand piano would of been nice for the sound quality but you guys played it beautifully just the same. Thanks for sharing your performance. :)

Sorry I don't have a video to post.

I have to agree with katzefrau, Shane you are most adorable and this is a great video. I have Aspergers and so does my son. So seeing other people with Aspergers/Autism, they look pretty normal to me, I don't see the awkwardness as much as I imagine NT's do. But I'm not blind and I can see that you certainly don't look like a psycho. :) You remind me of this quote I read today.

"Whatever you think you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, magic and power in it." ~ Goethe

What type of music do you enjoy playing on the guitar? My daughter studied classical guitar but you would never know it these days. She's decided to dedicate her life to creating and playing experimental noise. ;) Really.

thanks =) i really appreciate that

i do look like a psycho when i make extended eye contact with the camera near the end. but that's just one part

to answer your question, i enjoy playing everything on the guitar, i try to diversify my style as much as possible. i particularly favor eastern music, i hope to one day acquire and learn how to play a sitar. in addition, i can play metal and rock and acoustic, some punk-type stuff, and i also dabble in dissonance/experimental noise as well. just about any style of music i can spend time listening to i can impersonate with my improvs.

You're a serious Musician, that's so cool. I love Eastern and Western fusion. And your from VA Bch too, I just realized, you might know my daughter, she's tall and thin, long brown/black hair and green/brown eyes and she looks Ukrainian/Russian , she use to model fashion and advertisements. I won't post her name but I will ask her about posting a photograph of her here on WP. I'll send her your link if you don't mind? It would be interesting to see if you know her and if she knows you. :)
