Lurking. Just got back from the beach with one wet grandson, 3 wet dogs and wet me. It rained! But we can't get too much rain at the moment.

Smelena, your video was absolutely brilliant and beautiful as are your gorgeous sons. Thanks for sharing it and them with us. Your first attempt? I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future.

Thanks! :D

My mind is full of ideas. I keep hearing songs on the radio and thinking .... aha ... that's the perfect soundtrack to this idea I have.

I think I'm obsessed!

I think I'm turning Aspie!

Must have been the flu vaccine I had at work last week!

SleepyDragon, I can't wait to meet you. But be warned - I might try to recruit you for one of my videos.

*skips off with delusions of grandeur ... the next Steven Spielberg*

Got an invitation to Easter dinner, from a woman in my social group. I remembered three things: That she smokes, that she has two or three huge dogs, and that she likes to fill the house with people. But I knew that I would regret it within 10 minutes of arriving there. Sensory overload just waiting to happen!

Guess who is not coming to dinner topic

Sorry, Hartz. I know you like to be alone but I wish I could have invited you to my dinner. My two younger kids were there, my ex husband, and two dogs. But no one smokes. Maybe it would be hard for you because you do not know anyone but me. :(

If it means anything I would not go to her dinner either. :eew:

Thanks for your input! It is so good to come here and have understanding. :) Other things ran through my mind - like, what is the point of celebrating a holiday that I have gotten out of the habit of celebrating, with people I don't know? If my family was normal, and loving, I would have been glad to spend it with them. Hope everyone who celebrates Easter, had a happy one!

And nothing's worse than that feeling of being trapped in a situation you can't graciously remove yourself from. I hope you had a relaxing day anyway, doing something you enjoyed.

I do, too. And I hate crowds for many of the same reasons.

hartz, it's ok. Anyone that says different needs to have their head removed from a part of their body where it doesn't belong.

If I ever invite someone to spend Easter with me, I would only invite at most three of four.

But probably just one or two.

The mechanized one? On the other side of the planet, I'm afraid. How did you ever mislay it in Wales?

Depends on how many spares you got, seeing how two of them just whistled past my ears.

But you didn't, did you? They went right past, one right and one left.

Which means...

You got my range bracketed...

Umm...

Chuck?

You got a snowflake I could hide under? An armoured snowflake, perhaps?
