Poetry (specifically 17-19th century, especially Tennyson, Blake and Poe.)
Ancient History (anything over one thousand years, typically)
Final Fantasy
Tetris
Grammar (both Latin and English... and French now, too... This also includes made-up languages, also.)
Staring off into space (which sometimes entails my going into a private world and/or fantasy, or just staring or thinking...)
Cryobiology (randomly decided to research it, now I love it)
Talking to one friend of mine whom I shall henceforth refer to as "Domine" or "Love."
Books
Rome
Writing
Pens
Lemons
Peaches
Making up slang
Quantuum theory...

When I was younger, I also collected golf balls. I hated most TV shows and instead would watch this movie called "Hearts and Souls" over and over.

Yeah... I'll stop now...

Oh, yes... and death... especially violent deaths... by other people. Murder. The more grotesque and/or barbaric, the more fascinating.

It is crazy. I also collect quilts and buttons and homemade toys...(i make as well as collect those made by others)

At one point, I'd have a fixation on a random object. Like planes at one point. Then snakes. And then wolves/coyotes/etc. Then I grew up and started liking things I could experience rather than just read about.

First I had television. This evolved into video games. Then I realized that I just like things that look good, so I took up drawing. Now I'm always drawing.

Advancing human justice is why I strive.
it is my dearest compultion
and I obsess over it
It is how I address my outrage to what I have witnessed in my life.

Or is it just a mental stim that I doing to make my brain feel good, this thirst for justice?

I KNOW it bores the **** out of other people as I whine, whine whine about past tortures. But even if I were somehow magically compensated for all those outrages, if I were restored to whole and had a confident and loving upbringing - would I not have mentally stimmed myself with what ever I compulsively fixated on and obsessed about THAT too?

Well, that is interesting, is this thirst for justice just an aspie trait, an aspie trait with a little obsessive compulsive tossed in like herbs in a stuffing recipe? And is WHAT we become 0bsessed and compulsive about. . does it really matter? do we just project some overwhelming noble purpose onto what is really a mental/thought stim.

A 'stim' that is not of the limbs, but a stim of the thought processes?

Events in the world! Mee too!
Political junkie, die hard liberal, Adlai Stevenson Democrat ( look it up!) completely devastated by what the Bushies have done to our beautiful experiment in a democratic republic. I log into TalkingPointsMemo.com at 5:25 AM and check in all day (I have devised a scheme to do so at work) sometimes chaffing that there has been no updates for three whole minutes. GoogleNews, al Jazeria, Manchester Guardian, Xiang News service, I sleep with either KGO radio from SanFrancisco or the BBC overnight service in my ear.

Witness to the World, that's me!

Plans - any kind, buildings, ships, sheds etc.

Maps - I am in heaven since I found Google Earth

Lists, timetables and that kind of thing too.

I am not typically an expert on any of these, my interest is visual and being able to re-organize, improve, tidy up or do some other thing with them.

Ah, thats made me feel good :D
