When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): not yet officially, have only just realised that I have AS too.
Favorite subjects: Psychology
Year/Grade: N/A- but hoping to go back to college as soon as I can get on top of my social phobia.
Favorite music: Wide(ish) range- Green day, RHCP, Inkubus Sukkubus, Nerf Herder, NOFX, the dickies, bikini kill, L7,beachbuggy, oh and did I mention the doors?? LOL
Books: I LOVE reading and its really hard picking even a few favourites but I'll try limit my list to just a few: East of Eden, The timetraveller's wife, Wuthering Heights, The shining, The wind-up bird chronicle (one of the only books I'd give a 10/10), To kill a mocking bird, and the Diceman.
TV shows: Buffy, Angel, Cold case, Myth Busters, forensic detectives (should also be known as America's Dumbest Murders lol).
Movies: Heathers, Clerks, Rocky horror show, Breakfast at Tiffany's,
Instrument: none- never had the spare cash.
Family: I'm married to Duncvis- we have 3 kids- one has AS, one may have ADHD and the other is only a toddler.
Clothing: I have a very mixed up sense of style, I make some of my own clothes. I wear a strange mix of punk/goth/hippy/what ever I feel like lol.
How did you find this website? Thought I'd join since Duncvis spends some much time on here.
Job: A full-time mum at the moment- am homeschooling our middle child.
Plans for the future? I want to get over my fear of having to mix with others so I can go back to uni (want to study Psychology and crime).
Any comments? I love this community- I think its a great source of support/info/fun.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): A couple of months ago by a psychologist unofficially, having the big test(s) done in Feb '05 (crowded hospital system or some such lame excuse). I have to say, it makes everything in my life click into place and make sense.

Do you like sports? Not really. I don't get sports, plus I have the complete-lack-of-coordination thing. I'd probably like proper sword fights if they showed them, though.

Clothing: Just the cheapest sensible thing available, and then I'll wear that until it literally falls apart.

Why are you here? - I've got Developmental Dyspraxia and I couldn't find any discussion forums on it so I found the nearest thing.

Clothing - Depends on the time of year - in winter I wear thick jumpers with a high neck along with jeans/trousers and T shirt. In summer I wear jeans and a T shirt. However, you will often find me in horsey clothes.

Same name as the "Real" James Bond, Ian Fleming. I think he was about the same age when he started writing Bond novels. I would say he most likely was not an AS as he had a reputation for "interacting" with my women in his life, or at least early on while still working for Naval Intelligence of Britain during WWII.

Why are you here? I may or maynot have Aspergers, but I do have many similar traits. And I wanted to interact with people who act similar to me.
Favorite subjects: Mathematics with a dose of Computer Science and Physics.
Year/Grade: A Junior in college, but it may be a while before I graduate.
Favorite music: They Might Be Giants and instrumental indie rock.
Books: Don't read fiction too much, but I do enjoy reading math text books. Also the audio cd rendition of LOTR.
TV shows/Movies: Simpsons, Seinfeld, Space Ghost Coast to Coast for TV and What About Bob?, UHF and Lord of the Rings for movies. (I generally just like comedies in both media)
Instrument: I used to play drums, and may possbily pick it up again. I am actually now practicing to teach myself polyrhythms but never plan to play in a band. I am pretty tone deaf so anything beyond drums is too advanced for me...
Do you like sports? I am not against sports as a concept, I am just not good at them. I'll go bowling ever once and again though. But I do like to watch Football games( GO PACKERS) and some baseball.
Family: A sister and a mother, very close to some extended family... cousins, uncles and grandparents.
Clothing: I usually wear tan pants with plain colored shirts... for work purposes. I also like to wear hawaiian shirts... and I hate long sleeved shirts. I never wear them, even in the winter.

Job: Work full time for a medical home care company. Fixing machines and placing orders... thankfully I don't have to deal with too many patients.
Plans for the future? I would like to become a private math teacher, or possibly a professor.
