Hobbies and Interests: reading, listening to music

Why are you here? to try and find out a lil about AS as my daughter has been diagnosed as having it


Favorite music: scissor sisters, mika, ad/dc.. i like most kinda of music

Books: i like true crime but they started scaring me when reading at night..lol, latest books ive read are bryce courtney books and the series by peter watts

TV shows/Movies: prison break, wentworth miller is a total sex god, and i like most movies with ben stiller and adam sandler


Do you like sports? i used to play netball, i dont mind watching real footy (rugby league) and im starting to watch soccer since my oldest child started playing

Family: i have 3 girls, 11,nearly 9 and nearly 2

Clothing: whatever is comfy, if i had my way id live in pj's and slippers

How did you find this website? through google when i was looking for info on AS

Plans for the future? no idea, its hard enough dealing with day to day things let alone worrying about the future

Hobbies and Interests: gaming, music, animals, computers, films, books, ancient/unsolved history (ooparts and things like that) i tend to alternate between each interest/hobbie every few weeks/months due to the "routine thing"

Why are you here? confidence, in the past year my aspies has interfered with my social life alot more then it used to due to me being more aware about the ways Asperger's makes me act differently from those i interact with.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): i was first diagnosed when i was 8 by a school phycologist.

Favourite subjects: depends (see hobbies and interests)

Year/Grade: ?

Favourite music: paddy rasta, nevermore, red hot chilli peppers, megadeth, kiss, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton.. to name a few..

Books: anything by Stephen King or Tolkien!

TV shows/Movies: many. atm Stargate sg1 grabs most of viewing time

Instrument: i bought a guitar but im too shy to practice

Do you like sports? not really (bad knees)

Family: parents, brother, grandparents, various cousins aunties uncles etc

Plans for the future? finish college, get a job and a home, learn to cook for myself, possibly learn another language and mayhap some kids one day.

Hobbies and Interests: skiing, movies, music (mostly rammstein) uh, pretty much anything done outside=fun..

Why are you here?: because i always wanted to meet/talk to other people with AS~

Favorite subjects: i despise school and everything about it, but hey, weight training is an awesome class (i'm not implying anything here, my bench isnt anything amazing)

Year/Grade: senior

Favorite music: german industrial/rammstein... i like metal, but i don't like the whole screaming and growling bit.. iron maiden's good too

Books: see i can read like 1 page then my mind wanders off and i skip lines..

TV shows/Movies: NFL network sits on my tv like 24/7... but i watch some of those comedy shows like family guy
any movie with shaun pegg and nick frost=awesome

Plans for the future? forklift operation classes in march, applying for some warehouse jobs in the summer

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): In the future

Favorite subjects: All, except ceramics and art.. somehow I failed those classes. Art should not be dictated to you, you should dictate the art.

Year/Grade: Dropped out halfway through Junior year, passed the GED with flying colors in 3.5 hours (test is 7-8 hours long with a couple breaks), then I got my real diploma last summer for the Air Force

Favorite music: All but rap, pop-punk(whatever that means). and new country. Hardcore and Indie styles appeal to me most.

Books: Hmm fantasy mostly. Currently reading The Silmarillion, Dune, and Spirit Gate

TV shows/Movies: TV... Family Guy, Futurama, a slew of sitcoms I see once in a while... I rarely watch TV. Movies... V for Vendetta was pretty spectacular... I dunno I like loads of movies.

Do you like sports? Individual sports like Golf, Tennis, Pool, most definetly. Team Sports.... no.

Family: 2 parents, 1 bro, 1 sis, I'm the youngest.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): not officially. been researching about AS and I seem to fit the descriptions.

Favorite subjects: music appreciation, astronomy, spanish

Favorite music: anything and everything. Beethoven, Thelonious Monk, Black Flag, Zeppelin, Sinatra, anything that makes me want to sleep, fight,... etc.

Books: Hemingway, Steinbeck, Philip K. Dick

TV shows/Movies: City Of God, Space Balls, Waking Life, Black Orpheus, Futurama, ...a lot of cartoons

Instrument: many stringed, percussions , harmonica, piano

Do you like sports? not really. unless you consider chess and a sport.
