Tell your uncle, as someone who scored a 97 on his ASVAB, the military ain't s**t for proof of "manhood." They wouldn't let me in after walking me all the way up to the final paperwork because I wouldn't lie about having ever been to therapy. A recruiter pulled me into a room and told me I had to lie if I wanted their "help" getting waivers. He told me never to tell anyone what he told me. The reluctance to admit someone unwilling to lie on government forms was typical neurotypical logic, pun intended. The recruiters were skeptical that I was crazy. They didn't believe anyone could shoot for Green Beret school (18xray designation) and get it on the first try. I looked at their service video and was like, "Oh, that's a slow Tuesday for me..."

By that time in my life, I had already been running 4:30 minute miles, long distance 36 mile runs, getting lost in the woods on purpose, and taking on any job and succeeding. I was the total package. But I was autistic, and they thought I was lying. So, if your uncle thinks the army is the way to go to prove you've got stones, tell him their whole system is built on lies to make goons like him feel tough. They're not. When my sister was in the Army corp of engineers, she got raped twice. Instead of "manning up" and helping her, they demoted her twice when she wouldn't drop the accusations. f**k the military. They're a pretend school for internet tough guys playing soldier. I don't care about caveats, lol.

And, the thing is, when my sister caught her husband cheating on her (as one of the men she had accused), she tackled him through a wall. Her commanders didn't stick up for her. I'm glad she left. The US military is a joke.

My best mile time is about 6:30......I'm really envious of you LOL
