well, just back from the Psychologists office and it's official.
I have that unique honor of being a female Aspie.
(well, not unique here, but you know what I mean!)

I am exhausted from the evaluation and the intensive interview. I found the PhD also knows Randy Leary (Timothy's son.) I kept staring at the only bit of color in the room, which was a red/orange price sticker on the back of a stored long table and just told him everything.
He only faltered once. . .the story of my cousins dropping me in the lake and rowing away. I thought he was going to end the interview, but, bless his heart, he soldiered on.
I arrived at 9:00AM and was out of there at 2:00PM. No lunch break, only bathroom breaks, he must have noticed I didn't smoke cigarettes.

Congrats, Merle!!

3. Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the USA population.

4. Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the USA population..

5. Germans drink beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the USA population.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

After watching my sons and going over their complete histories from conception to the day we were in the with the psychiatrist, I know full well how draining it must have been for you. And how do you feel about the diagnosis now that it's been a few days?

Lurking and laughing. My oldest daughter picked up an "Uncle Milton" toy called "Shadow Magic" that the Mini-Reika just LOVES.
When we were at the Oppenheimer Exploratorium in San Francisco they had a whole wall that did it and me and the older daughter spent a LONG time playing in there.
So now the mini-reika is burning her shadow onto the screen they provide. Shes laughing hysterically and now shes burning her toys image onto the screen. She is so much fun! Her laughter makes me laugh.
The X-Files Movie was great of course because its "The X-Files" I loved it!
Supposed to go see "The Dark Knight" tonight w/ everyone from work. (Well, not everyone, but a bunch of is)
Hi Blessed Mom, how ya doing? I'm waiting for Merle to get home from work I have a question for her.

Hi Lauri. Nice to see you back. Hope your son is doing better.

Dealing with my phobia: I found a live scanner feed to the guys fighting the Telegraph fire at Mariposa/Yosemite and am listening to them deal with it. I mean, it's pretty odd being hyper about a fire that's 5 hours away and that is never going to get here. But it's there.

I remember the area well - they showed the place we ate pizza at before we left to come home and there were flames just roaring on the hill behind it on the TV tonight - NBC news, I think it was. Sigh... hope they make it through unscathed up there. That place hasn't burned in 100 years and it's way, way overdue.

WOAH, Earthquake! We're still swaying.... That one went on for a long time!

Wonder how big that was? If it was LA, it was big. If local, decent enough. My coffee sloshed outa my cup. 8O

Edit: SO glad I got earthquake insurance. The policy literally arrived in yesterday's mail. Hope we don't need it. The kid is in a highrise south of here, and it's on springs. Says she got nauseous from the building moving.

Now, is it a foreshock or the main event.

Why is it we are living here, exactly, Nan?

8O Yes, NAN! Why are you living there exactly?????

And I know haven't been around much but has it really been so long you forgot how to spell my name??

Soccerdude is going to be alright, it would seem. All biopsies came back clean, which means he has Irritable Bowel Syndrome, rather than Crohn's ..THank GOD!! Still not great but better than the other option. And I'm better now, too. Most of my stress is gone and the foot is feelin 99.9% better. The cane is parked in the closet until next time. Maybe now we can get back to normal. No more 6 hours drives back and forth to see the doctor every week.
