You gots moneys? I gots keyboard art. Meet at bingo hall. Second floor. Ask for Art. Shhhh!!

I no gots money :( Maybe I'll just stand outside the Bingo Hall and live vicariously!

Fibromyalgia? Just took a look at your site. And there is that word again. I can't help but wonder why I see it as much as I do around these here parts. Either in those of us with like minds or our others. What a horrid thing it is. At the very least it's finally gotten out of the "old woman's complaint" class and getting some attention paid to it. It sure wasn't like that even just some years ago. I feel so damn powerless when The Wife is into a flare.

Yeah the gots money thing. I try to ignore it. It has a very nasty habit of building up till even I can't ignore it and I've had years of practice.

I don't think I've ever asked, I may have, which part of the State are you from, just generally speaking? I'm extreme (love that word) north central, along the NY State line.

I was diagnosed with the fibro in 1991. Struggled a good deal with getting some attention paid to it, and now that it's not a struggle so much, I have no insurance lol. I eat alot of Ibuprofen.

Money thing: my husband has been unemployed since May. It's been a truly rotten summer. Both he and my son are beginning training on Monday for a new job. Training will last a month, and anything can happen so we're still looking. Hard to ignore, but unemployment is keeping the bills paid.

I'm about 15 minutes East of Pittsburgh, SouthWestern PA.

Howdy Timberwolf, welcome to the cafe, like a muffin? Just a traditional Cafe greeting, also known as bait  Ok, so maybe it's my greeting, but I've seen others do it too, so I can blame them. Did you know there are Evul Muffins and the Good Muffins?

Grow up? Who said I had to? Better yet who told you that nasty lie?

Make sure he eats a muffin first. Or that it's still in its wrapper and hasn't been tampered with.... and run if you see the duck tape.

Hi Lauri! I'll pick up the phone tonight, should have called yesterday but was too scattered. Nice to be staying in places with Internet access after several days without it. *jumps for joy*

G'day all, and welcome Bunni and Timberwolf. And Nan, glad to hear Spike is still with us.

For my friends that don't live in the States, I want you to know we are trying to make this democracy thing work! For my friends IN the States. . . something to ponder.

Merle,

Your fingers crossed for Jumpin Joe Biden?
Damn I love that guy.
He'll rip em up and spit em out.
Love his sense of humor too.

Our forefathers weep as they sleep.

I worked a couple 5 or 6 projects in your general area, Bunni
I'm about 15 or 20 minutes south of Elmira NY.
Just over the line, but most everybody knows that about me already.

You do know the State has an insurance program?
A list for waiting and it depends on income.
But very very good and well worth the wait.
I have no idea how we'd get by without it for SwampBloosom.
Vote and you know which way to go.
We've got to end this nightmare.

I baked some muffins, pick one.
Of course those are blueberries, why do you ask?

You'll have to let me know when you'll be close again :) Maybe we can get together for some real muffins!

I know about the insurance program, and the waiting list is long. We were just over the income line prior to May, and now I'm not sure where we will be once he starts this new job. Gotta love making too much to take part in a program but not enough to pay almost as much as the mortgage for insurance. My kids are insured, and the hubby was through work, but we can't seem to afford just me.

*cautiously reaching for a muffin* Um, do they normally wink? 8O I think I'll skip it for now.

I don't travel very much or very far these days.
Being a shovel bum took a toll on me.
Road rash or road burn out, call it what you like.
Surprised I lasted as long as I did. I must have loved it.

Yeah I know the list is long.
Way too long.

If you ever get up this way I will bake some muffins that will sinfully melt in your mouth :D
And if you like coffee, I'll make something special for you. Kona?
Yeah I really can cook and bake, it was an obsession for a while.
Actually SwampBlosson is the better baker in the house.
I don't tell her I really know how to cook, nope.
I'm not that foolish. (Shut it, the rest of you. Just scare her away, she's getting closer. Shhhh!!)
It's also pretty practical, which goes against my grain.
Mostly I try to avoid eating anyway, it just interupts things.

Yes blueberries always wink. Trust me.
Hold on gotta run, one of the blueberries is trying to run away.
It won't get far, I swat em.
This muffin makin' is dangerous work.
Ah damn the cat got it first. Oh well.

I repeat, just make sure he eats some first, and watch out if he happens to have any duck tape around.

Cool. 8)
Get that bird growed up.
We could use a Condor Finch around the Cafe.
Well I could, I still have plans to take over the world.
I don't play well with others and run with scissors in my hand too.
