How is it that everyone has pictures?! I try making it small and very low res. I tried jpg, gif, png and still the picture will not take!! !! !! !!
I couldn't see you anywhere near Birmingham... then I guessed(?) you were in Birmingham, Alabama - but I still couldn't find a pin near there - let alone an image.
That's strange. I see the pin when I look. This frappr thing works really strangely. Must be a Linux program. Linux goes out of its way to be as counter intuitive as possible. If I feel like it I'll struggle with it some more.
I see just one pin near Birmingham, AL, and that's:
06xrs, who's complaining that he can't stick his pin further north, from Moody.
I had some difficulties pacing my pin where I wanted it, and gave up - leaving it stuck in Wincanton, for a while, because that's as close as I could get it to stay. (If I tried getting closer, on re-accessing the map, my pin would vanish off to reappear on London!) Oddly, it now seems to be quite close to where I am, now, but the place is named twice - once correctly (as a single word), once wrongly (split into two words).
PS. I noticed that your "Client Site" link on your website has a bit of a flaw... forcing browsers to resize down images on-the-fly is a waste of bandwidth. Nice that it passed the W3C validator test, though. I then got carried away and found that passing the test didn't apply elsewhere - and
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ fails pretty messily, too. Maybe you would do well to employ the rather useful tools available freely under GNU/Linux to make your web code standards compliant?
