Hobbies and Interests: Drawing, Reading, Playing Nintendo, Shopping, Being goofy, cooking and baking, astronomy and astro-physics, Mendelin (sp) Genetics and human biology, chess, animals, swimming, listening to music, writing poems, raps and riddles, arts and crafts, Graphic Design, tornadoes and weather, philosophy, collecting miniture versions of regular sized things.
Why are you here? I have Asperger's Syndrome. I hat ethat word though, can't stand it.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): When I was about 12.
Favorite subjects: Graphic Design and Philosophy.
Year/Grade: I'll be third Year university this year.
Favorite music: Old school rock, such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
Books: The Harry Potter series, Non fiction on space, black holes, the human body, sea life, marvels and mysteries of the un explained, supernatural and paranormal - with lots of pictures. 
TV shows/Movies: I don't watch much TV anymore.. but they were CSI, charmed, The Simpsons, Jonathan Creek, The Harry Potter series... and I like too many movies to name.
Instrument: None at the moment.
Do you like sports? If so, which ones?: Not really into team sports, I like to walk and go to the gym (ocasionally), swim, maybe some team sports with a few friends.
Family: Mum and Dad (Dad has AS), and a 21 year old sister (NT)
Clothing: Varies. I have comfy clothes that aren't that great looking, Black and red outfits, pink and white lacy outfits, snazzy outfits, punk outfits, down to earth outfits, I could even dress up as a goth if I felt the need to.
How did you find this website? Just seached around some search engines.. I think I found a link to it on a site. I was drawn here because of the large overall community, hoping there could at least be a few people I relate to.
Job: I work part time as a waitress at an all you can eat buffet.
Plans for the future? I really don't know.. I want to be out there being noticed.
Any comments? I feel like utter crap at the moment.

Why are you here? Quite probable mild Asperger's
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): NOt diagnosed, but the more I consider about my childhood and what I read, I find it possible I have a very mild case.
Favorite subjects: Baseball, I love alternate history, might say learning since I've loved school so much. Might even say that's where I really feel comfrtable.
Year/Grade: Completed law school 1994, now going back to schol at seminary via distance education
Favorite music: Gospel songs, though, frankly, not into music all that much; never been into what's popular/"fasionable"
Books: Loved almanacs when younger, also loved the Left Behind series. Still love Peanuts, Dennis the Menace, FAmily Circus comics collections, Calvin & Hobbes
TV shows/Movies: Full House, M*A*S*H, Cosby Show for TV shows, movies not really a favorite, maybe Airplane, as I love comedy/puns/etc. You'd have sworn a couple friends (I always hung around same 2-3 kis in school then in Jr. HIgh and I knew people named Who, Whatt, etc. from the old Abbott and Costello routines
Instrument: I play the radio very well, as it's so simple Anything else sounds like a cow in labor

Location: Southern California, land of the neverending rain this year 
Hobbies and Interests: Writing, especially fanfiction. Reading, travel, playing "quirky" RPGs like EarthBound, Harvest Moon, The Sims 2, and The Kingdom of Loathing (I highly prefer them to the FF series like games, which I also like, but I like odd games the most.) Anime and manga (my favorites would be Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, FAKE, and Gundam Wing) Mocking really bad fanfiction and atrocities against logic and the English language. (i.e. "u" is not a word). I like food as well and am still looking for the perfect fish chowder pot pie and sweet milk pocky and other things. . .(although I'm afraid of burns and can't cook anything beyond microwavable foods)
Why are you here? I'm hoping to meet people who won't judge me the second they meet me and have a safe place to post without worrying about my every post getting dragged to Fandom w*k.
When were you diagnosed? Not yet, although I know I have Aspergers. It was such a relief to know that I wasn't just a bad, insensitive, boring nerd who is such a burden on everyone else and should just go die for everyone else's benefit.
Favorite subjects: Over the last year in college, they've been media news writing, American history, writing for the campus paper, and criminal justice.
Year/Grade: College freshman. I'm majoring journalism, but I eventually want to be a lawyer and do public service work (I'm really interested in criminal defense because of my hatred of the death penalty, or in consumer protection law because of my near-obsessive interest in scams)
Favorite music: Instrumental, also Japanese pop and rock (Gackt! Ayumi Hamasaki! Utada Hikaru! *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*)
Books: Mostly nonfiction, although my tastes in fiction are rather eclectic. I'll be interested in reading pretty much anything except for Mary Sues, het romance novels, and convoluted purple prose. Specifically, I happen to be somewhat of a manga fan, although all I have so far is two volumes of FAKE due to my inability to buy unnoticed that often (if my family knew I liked yaoi, they'd hate me) and my lack of money.
TV shows/Movies: I mostly like anime for fictional TV shows/movies, although I will sometimes catch an episode of Law and Order or Medical Investigation if its topic really interests me (Miles x Connor slash forever *snerk*). My favorite movies would be Spirited Away and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, and my favorite TV shows would be the ones I mentioned earlier.

Do you like sports? Baseball, although I kind of got bored with it when the steroids scandal started.
Family: I live at home with my father, mother, and sister. Both my father and sister are very emotionally abusive on occasion, my mother is sick and possibly dying, and if they ever found out certain things about me, life would be even more miserable around here than it is. Someone's almost always yelling or mad at someone else or at the cats around here.
Clothing: Bleh. I'm not stylish or fashionable at all. Try a 20 dollar (at most) shirt of some kind, jeans, sneakers, and if it's cold a flannel shirt. I really don't care about style or fashion, and people have actually been scared or squicked out by that. I'm sorry, but if you want to spend $500 on a "little black dress" and coo over it to your friends, that's fine, but please don't consider me bad for not wanting the same thing.

Job: None. I need one though because I really want to move out.
Plans for the future? Move out of this house, learn to drive, become a journalist (my dream job would be for a travel magazine that paid me to go places) or a lawyer, maybe get into a relationship if I can find the right person 
I'd really like to travel the US and at least two other countries before I die.

Why are you here? found the site thru Jane Meyerding's autism site (first result if you google her name), i have self-diagnosed Asperger's syndrome but not yet got an "official" diagnosis.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): self diagnosed last year, hopefully getting referral for official diagnosis within next couple of months
Favorite subjects: dunno about "favourite" but i am studying politics with international studies (assuming u mean academic subjects... for subjects to talk about see "interests" above)
Year/Grade: resitting my final year of uni
Favorite music: loads... 70s reggae/dub/funk my main obsesion, but everything from folk to hip hop to really random stuff...
Books: Toni Morrison, George Orwell, Marge Piercy, Ursula le Guin, loads of other "serious" fiction authors plus sci-fi, graphic novels and conspiracy/esoterica stuff...
