Don't you mean Tempus fugit, non autem memoria ?

And what does the second mean? Is it 'in times of war, law turns to rubble'?

i know very little Latin, got it from my dad,

the first is as i know it...

the second one means 'In times of war, the Law falls silent' i think, i may have got it wrong

i would like to know more latin... but i dont...

when i have finished my BA (Hons) Degree in Heritage Management (im starting it in September) i will try to learn Latin, Greek, Aramaic, and ancient Hebrew...

Ohhh....

That second one should be: "Inter arma silent leges "

I use dictionaries, plus an excellent book called 'Extreme Latin'.

This is the important point. NEITHER of the involved
primaries saw it as an insult. We should all just calm
down, and unbunch our panties.

You know cosmonaut when I said "real smooth" it was not in an attempt to criticize you or patronize you in any way but the actions that your words spoke of.

Quite frankly its not really nice to call people fat.

Plus I was being sarcastic.

hale-bopp if you're over the age of consent you have just scored. And just to make things convenient for you, I am in NZ at the minute. Bring money, drugs, guns and lawyers - quick!

Oh and some baked beans too. They have Heinz beans here but they call them "Watties". What's that all about??

Over the age of consent...? Do I really look that young? 8O I'm 22. Age of consent is 16.

Watties is a huge brand over here. One of the market leaders. No-one likes heinz... they smell.
