I am glad to be hanging back at the Cafe

there was a lot of time going by there for a while, when it was touch and go for me in the Dino Ex. Then Venus was in retrograde for the last 8 weeks and finally word on a long project the exact night Venus is in the final degree of Pisces (where is a nice place for Venus to be) and going back forward again however she is aligned with Mars tonight and that lends great power.

Congratulations to our Lau, that is now Admin of WP (polite applause) It is definately a momentous day in a lot of ways. Keep it under your hat, you know how modest he is.

Merle

8) Thanks everyone, I`m much better now and don`t feel dingied, paranoia gone thanks to all.
Lemon I got your notes on quotes- but since I am too lazy to go upstairs to the computer- or my daughter is on it- I usually do it on my phone and it usually goes wrong! I will try later.

I have found out I am not going to be diagnosed until earliest August, so I am disappointed, but I have now started reading up on tests so I have a bit more of an idea.
Will be back soon!

All must bow before my gross kneecaps!

Tremble at the mention of my earlobes!

No stone is too small to be turned into a handkerchief.

(One day I'll make sense.... but not today! Hurrah! Gadzooks! Odsbobs! Ni!)

wow. one of our classes has like 300 people in it. it met on tuesday, as normal. on tuesday evening the professor was diagnosed with mumps. i sure hope all those li'l darlins have had their mumps vaccinations! them and all the people who have had contact with him - like his graduate students, office mates, people in the cafeteria, and my co-workers, for example. me, i HAD the mumps (no fun), and they say you can't get it twice. but there are some people who have not taken the vaccine for religious (or personal) reasons and that's allowable in california. hope they don't have to face the consequences of those beliefs with a nasty case of the virals.

public health is insisting on sending a nurse who speaks spanish to talk to the professor - who lives in tijuana but who speaks perfect english. we have informed public health that his english is better than the person who's coordinating for public health, and that the man earned a phd in a highly theoretical field in the usa, and that he just LIVES in mexico, but because he has a hispanic last name they seem to assume he is english impaired and insist on sending a bilingual nurse to speak with him. (sigh)

good lord. this place just keeps getting better and better.

Anyone seen my worm polish? I keep it in a Marmite jar. For three years I've been runner up in the Earthworm Breeder of the Year competition, and I refuse to be second again. My worms fetch, come to heel, roll over, and get through the obstacle course in record time, but they look like the scum of the earth. I need that polish. Has anyone seen it? Please?
