Exploration and discovery, as usual.
My diagnosis history is pretty mixed up, but to my understanding at this point, I was informally diagnosed as having an “autistic disorder” after a few minutes of talking with a nurse. My schools took this as a true diagnosis, gave me accommodations, and told me that I have autism (for sure) at age 16. My family, however, believes that I am totally neurotypical, and didn’t tell me about the school’s “mix-up” until about a year ago.
(Maybe I should make a whole other thread for this stuff!)
I’ve been very confused lately.
I came here to ease some of this confusion, along with just getting to know people and have a great time, and this site has helped a lot so far.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): The informal diagnosis was at age 7.
Favorite subjects: Science, English, Math, History……just about all of them, except P.E.
Year/Grade: Still in 13th…..I need to take more credits!

Family: I love my family, even if they are all NTs (to my understanding) who don’t really understand me. They go above and beyond to try to take care of me in every way.
Clothing: Varied, but mostly trendy/preppy with a little modification.
How did you find this website? I don’t even remember. It was over the internet somehow.
Job: Summer Vacation. I’m a student, but I might be looking for a job soon.
Plans for the future? The more career exploration I do, the more unsure I am of what I’m going to be doing after I’m done with college. I shouldn’t be too scared, since I’ll be staying in school as long as I possibly can, but a revelation soon would be nice.
Maybe I'll just take over the world.....
