Please don't eat me! I don't taste good, and I don't think you like the taste of Chloroseptic! Oh, wait; I'm an adolescent now.

Well, I'll take a crack at it.

What is your first name? Christopher

Age: 14 years. (too little for big, too big for little) :( Born 5/8/91.

Location: Joplin, Missouri, USA is my mail address says, but I go to school in Seneca, southeast of where I live. I live very near that little corner border between Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Hobbies and Interests: Writing poetry and chapter books, Lemony Snicket and his merchandise, loom beading, Pokémon, Harry Potter, foreign and strange coin collecting, words, gaining knowledge, cryptology, acting, drawing.... stuff like that.

Why are you here? I have Asperger Syndrome and I want to make friends with Aspies around my age (they are few and far between, however, especially girls, so I must make due with what I have.) or not around my age.

When were you diagnosed? age 4, circa 1995. I didn't find out about it until later.

Favorite subjects: Choir, Gifted(which will end after 8th grade  ) English, Speech/Drama/Debate, History.

Year/Grade: 8th grade next fall. I started Kindergarden late due to my lack of maturity.

Favorite music: classical, jazz (at a lively tempo and without trumpets) anything by Thomas Newman (made the music for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Finding Nemo, and Road to Perdition).

Books: A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Midwife's Apprentice, The Giver, Lisa and the Lacemaker, The Tale of Despereaux, The Harry Potter Series.

TV Shows/Movies: ZOOM, Spirited Away, The Simpsons(sometimes, if it's not gross), Finding Nemo, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Incredibles, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, Who wants to be a Millionaire, Jeopardy, The Harry Potter movies....

Instruments: I play piano(since age 7) with great skill and I played clarinet in sixth grade with skill but stopped because I wanted to take other classes besides band, and have being singing VERY OFTEN ever since I developed "perfect pitch" in 1st grade.

Do you like sports? If so, which ones? Not particularly. I only like moderately strenuous sports like ice skating, swimming, stuff like that.

Immediate Family: A mom and a dad, a ten year old sister, a fish tank, and a cat, all are Neurotypical.

Clothing: I am very particular in what clothing I wear. It can't be itchy or rough or lumpy or anything else my skin dislikes. The description of what I like to wear is lengthy, so I'll just sum up what clothing I want to wear the most in four words: Either comfy or nothing.

How did you find this website? through a Google search.

Job: I don't qualify for a job yet.

Plans for the future: To finish school, attend college, get a job that I enjoy that pays and marry a wonderful wife, buy her a beautiful ring, have a piano debut at Carnegie Hall...

Any comments: I would like to make friends on this board. I have managed to make a few, and I hope to make more, but I am so self-centered that I have a bit of trouble with that. Well, I think I've said enough. Thank you for reading.

Chris
