No, Melanie's eyes are not burned out of the picture
The photo was taken with a cheap disposable camera, and she had that red eye thing and the photo people tried to fix it. You can't tell from this, but she actually has these unusual super green sparkly eyes, which looks really good since she has very long and thick dark brown hair...

For that one you have to scroll down to my post and clock the pic to enlarge it... I'm the dork waving left-handed and showing off the mole under my chin. :D

That one is my favorite one; you also have to scroll down to my post and click it to enlarge it. :)

And that one you also have to scroll down to and enlarge (I'm the F'lorine person).

All 3 of those were taken almost 3 years ago, at a convention when I was 16, but I look pretty much the same, maybe a little different but definitely recognizable as the same person. :)

I like that picture the best. Reminds me of photos of me in the past were I held my head in the same position for no apparent reason. :)

I don't like the way I look in most of my pics, but this one I took right now and I don't look so weird.

Well, that's me.

Hell yeah!

My favourites are Reaper Man and Going Postal. I've got most of the books, and I've had the first two Science of Discworld books, The Colour of Magic, and Reaper Man signed by the man himself!

How did you guess?

I didn't guessed, really. I clicked on your profile button and there it was: "You see, I believe in freedom Mr Lipwig. Not man people do, although they will of course protest otherwise. And no practical definition of freedom would be complete without the freedom to take the consequences. Indeed, it is the freedom upon which all the others are based."

I'm a huge fan of his work and I would give a piece of my soul (well, it's not much, but it's all I've got) to meet him someday.

I have Good Omens signed by Neil Gaiman. When he came to Brazil a few years ago, it was just one of those moments that lasts forever. Are you a Neil Gaiman fan too?

Is your avatar Gaspard Ulliel? Manech from Un Long Dimanche de Fiançailles?

Yes, it's Gaspard Ulliel, but in his more internationally known role as a young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising. I've had Lord Vetinari and Vimes before, along with Doctor Who. You like Doctor Who?

So you saw the blog, eh? Cheat..... :)

I haven't seen Hanibal Rising yet, even though I have a crush on Hanibal Lecter (at least when played by Anthony Hopkins) and I love The Silence of The Lambs. Un Long Dimanche de Fiançailles is one of my favourite pictures, I adore Jean-Pierre Jeunet (I like almost every picture except for Alien: Resurrection, it's my least favourite Alien movie).

I know there's a classic sci-fi TV show called Dr. Who, but I've never seen it.

Well, I had to read your blog. It was there, looking at me. I couldn't help it, I'm just too curious.

Whoa, are there still Whovians around?

Quartermass, I'm not quite as pretty as Mademoiselle_Cafeine, but just for fun here's a pick of me wearing my Tom Baker scarf:
Image
A couple of good friends of mine had it custom-made for me as a birthday present a few years ago. I wear it to work and out sometimes, just to be obnoxious. Few people recognize what it is suposed to be though.

(Mademoiselle_Cafeine, you do get the Icarus_Falling Hottie Seal of Approval, btw.)

Good fortune,

Icarus, Second Last of the Whovians

:) Doesn't he?

I'm surprised your little munchkin lets all your belongings alone!
