Hi, hartz
I have Chuck on my Facebook friends list. I hadn't had any communication with him since Friday. A woman he is friends with where he lives has posted what happened and asked that we all keep him in our prayers. He had said he was going to his dad's for the weekend to do some lumberjacking......

Thank you for letting us all know! I will certainly keep him in my prayers.

I REALLY REALLY hate it when bad things happen to kind, decent people.
I am attempting to find out how he is doing now and will continue until I hear something........even if I have to be annoying to get an answer.

If nothing else I have fantastic thread killer skills.

Bumpity bump.... has anyone heard from Nan? Did you Hartzofspace?

And Chuck will recover but I believe Extreme lumberjacking in the rain will be out of question.

I kill threads too, LOL. No I haven't heard from Nan. Again, I am glad that Chuck will recover.

I got in contact with Chuck's neighbor and he's due home in the next couple days. It's very nice that she's been willing to update me. He is due to be home on the 8th and his neighbor's have been checking his home everyday. I'm thinking they are some very nice people! There are still some good one in the world. Chuck's been walking a 1/2 mile at a time in the past couple days and is slowly on the mend.

As for me...... I finally decided to try a med for my ADHD. I took less than the prescribed dose for the first time this morning and talk about feeling weird!! I sure hope that feeling goes away after I take it for a few days. If not, I have to say I can't see why anyone would want to use the med to get high.... not if this is how it feels! Between me, my 4 kids and our issues and meds I'm starting to feel like a pharmacist.

I can relate. My doctor just tried to have me start on Effexor, and I couldn't take the weird feeling; especially since the first thing it did was stop me from sleeping for two nights in a row. Before that, I went through Ativan withdrawal because I didn't want to be seriously dependent upon it.

Well, I can say that between J's meds (for PTSD, nightmares, shoulder pain, and migraines) and H's (for depression, anxiety, and fibromyalgia), I know more about neurochemistry, analgesics, SSRIs, and assorted psych and neural meds than their doctors...

HI guyz. I leave for a few minutes and look at what happens! Whole place falls apart.

Been busy, getting ready to move. Packing boxes everywhere. So much accumulated in the past 10 years, oy! Getting the Daughter motivated to help has taken some time. I can't lift more than 5 pounds still, and can't do much bending, etc., so it's been interesting. We are now at six days and counting until the big truck arrives to take us to our new place (cue theme from The Jeffersons).

So, Lauri, Chuck broke his back?!?!?! Are we talking a broken vertebrae or ...? If he's up and walking that's good. But a busted back is just so painful! Lauri tell him I said hi and that i hope he's doing ok?

Hi all, will read back later when I get a break and catch up with what's going on.

Someone prod Postie if ya see him and say "hi" for me there as well.

Hi, Nan! So glad to hear from you. I hadn't seen any of your posts for awhile, and was wondering how you were doing. Are you leaving the state, or just moving from your present place to elsewhere?

Just lurking.....Image and stimming Image as usual.... I now get my blood work done every two weeks instead of every week now, but I still have to watch my clotting factors and take Coumadin for about nine months longer....Not out of the woods yet.

Just across town. This complex has just gone down too much, it's no longer safe. I am too old to fight the crack dealers anymore. So, we're bailing. I am hoping to be able to rent the unit when we're gone, and have got a property management company to take care of it for me (screen tenants, deal with stuff). It came down to one day it was just "I cannot live here anymore. I don't care if the bank has to take it back, I do not want to be here." And so we are packing and moving closer to the coast.

If it works out, I shall - somewhat ironically - become a slumlord. If not, my credit is going to be shot for a few years and then things will continue.

Sorry to be away, will be away much longer soon as the computer keeps getting the blue screen of death and is about to go in a box for I don't know how long. You guys take care and tell everyone I miss 'em.
