ha the sad thing is, I love caffeine too. I was having just a bit... I'd start with a pot of coffee at 4:30 am.
After finishing that at 6:30 or so, I'd make a big pot of English Breadfast tea, my fav. I'd drink that until it was gone about 2 p.m. or so. Then I'd fall asleep at 4, get up at 4:30 and make some more tea. :)
I started waking up in the middle of the night with nightmares, my heart pounding hard and a lot of anxious thoughts. I admitted to myself that it might just possibly be a wheee bit much caffeine. So, I have cut back to only one pot of E.B. tea and everything else during the day and night decaf.

Ya I have to watch out how much I drink too. I become social and "brave" when I drink caffeine lol

good for you hope8 - do you enjoy it? - does it feel good after the soreness? I've been told I "need" to go to yoga, but I don't know why/what for.

there are several different kinds of yoga. when i can find one targeted for geezers i go there to work on my balance and strength, and to relax. the other kinds are just too rough for me.

ah coffee. i had a cup yesterday. got it at like 8:30, drank half of it, then drank the other half at about 2pm. was buzzing awake at 11pm, and overslept for work today. gotta watch that caffiene. fresh perked is best.

I feel good today. The yoga really help you relax, which I think in the long run will help when anxiety creeps up on you. Also, I have fibromyalgia. It really helps for that.
My pain was coming back lately so the doc told me to try yoga. It's definately working! =) Wow Nan you are really sensitive to coffee!! !! ! I wish i could drink only half a cup hahaha

I have fibro, too. As for coffee, if I drink only half a cup in the am, I will definitely sleep poorly and longer that evening. What I find is amazing for energy, is D-Ribose powder. A scoop of that gives me a shot of energy that isn't as dramatic as that of coffee, but nourishes the mitochondria.

I adore tea, especially hot Chai tea with Eagle brand milk! Can't drink coffee; I'll be hanging from the ceiling by my finger- and toenails if I drink even less than half a cup! But If I had a fresh pot of hot black Irish Breakfast tea and a good-sized chunk of carrot cake, I would be a very happy person! Sylkat :D

Dear Hartz of Space, I hope that resting helps you, and, if I could, I'd bring you some hot soup. And, of course, tea...Sylkat :(

Thanks, Sylcat. That's sweet of you. I am simply in a flare up of fibro/chronic fatigue. I had to unexpectedly walk for about 30 minutes yesterday, and now I have to recharge. I've been napping most of the day, and hope to be feeling better soon.

Hi guys, Brought some chocolate mint tea from my garden, won't keep you up, but will make you feel relaxed and fresh. Hope you are better, Hartz. Have a seat on this comfy sofa and try a walnut and choc chunk cookie.
