You're welcome, Nan. I checked out the site before I posted the bracelets and the link, and, if I read correctly, the medical info is actually on the back of the beads.

Sadly, no, it appears they are just pretty bracelets to hook onto the medic alert tag. But I could be missing something....

:(

Maybe you can find time to invent or design one on your lunch break.

There's definitely a need for such a thing, you'd think someone would've come up with something by now.
Good luck with your search.

I just planted a few flowers in my favorite color scheme: magenta, deep purple, and picric acid yellow.

Hello everyone.

Everyone in my family has had that long lingering cold since before Christmas.
I am currently house-sitting for one of my daughters and caring for her 3 cats.
Scout (a Tonkinese) and Mr. Jackson (all black) and Mr. Bigglesworth (black and white). Jackson and Mr Bigs
are just regular cats and I love all three. They wait for me in front of my bedroom door and race me
down the stairs every morning to be fed. Mr Bigglesworth is old, very fat, and sleeps most of the time.

I wish I could meet them! I love cats. Now that we have moved into our new house, my fiance wants to get a dog. I love dogs, too, but I will always love cats the best.

Wonderful news, Hartz. I've been wondering how you made out. Congratulations!

I'll try to post a picture of the cats.

I like looking at pictures of cats. They are so beautiful. Hell on local songbirds if they don't stay inside houses, tho.
I am hoping to adopt a toy xoloitquintle this week from a rescue league this week. The premises have been inspected by someone who also brought her papillon to see how our hairy hairless chinese crested/whippet mix reacted to other dogs and people (she passed). The inspector noted that we do have a fence and the dog is an indoor dog. I don't keep the poor thing chained up outside. So I think I passed. I'd much rather have a french bulldog, but I am allergic to those, and to most dog breeds. I am not allergic to the hairless breeds.

I just got this from my cousin who used to live in Pennsylvania and now lives in Louisiana. She misses PA

God created Pennsylvania

God was missing for six days. Eventually,
Michael, the archangel, found him, resting on
the seventh day. He inquired, "Where have
you been?"

God smiled deeply and proudly pointed
downwards through the clouds, "Look,
Michael. Look what I've made."

Archangel Michael looked puzzled, and said, "What is it?"

"It's a planet," replied God, and I've put life on
it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be
a place to test Balance."

"Balance?" inquired Michael,
"I'm still confused."

God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth. "For example,
on some parts of the planet it will be a place of great opportunity and wealth,
while other parts are going to be under-developed with little opportunity and poor.
Over here I've placed a continent of white skinned people, and over there is a
continentof black skinned people. Balance in all things."

God continued pointing to different countries. "This one
will be extremely hot, while this one will be very cold and covered
in ice."

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a land
area and said, "What's that one?"

"That's Pennsylvania, the most glorious place on earth. There
are beautiful mountains, rivers and streams, lakes, forests, hills,
and plains. The people from Pennsylvania are going to be handsome,
modest, intelligent, and humorous, and they are going to travel the
world. They will be extremely sociable, hardworking, high achieving,
carriers of peace, and producers of good things."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration, but then asked, "But
what about balance, God? You said there would be balance."

God smiled, "Not too far from Pennsylvania is Washington, DC.
Just wait until you see the idiots I put there."
