If employment wasn't necessary, Perth would be my Australian city of choice.

Hey tru7hless.

I've met three aspies so far. Two from on here, and one "offline" as it were. They didn't contact me after the meet (which they said they would do) and stopped coming onto WP...

Glad to see you've had a bit more luck.

Oh... and I did a bit of stalking by checking out your blog. I must say I LOVED arcanum too. Izaak is actually from Isaac Zapruder (a corpse that is on the ground (one with the camera) at the start area of the zephyr crash). His name turns to "Izaak Zapruder" if you use his default name as your characters name. I always went as a gunsmithing technologist. Sure, arrow touting mage had better damage output and were cheaper to keep stocked with ammunition. especially in the early part of the game where money is at a premium. But powered armour and an elephant gun were just SOOO awesome. Especially when you maxed electricity too and could create the tesla rifle. Anyhow...

Heya, I'm Doc from Western Sydney.

I have met about a dozen people 'claiming' to be Aspies, though I know for certain that there are at most 2 that I know, one of which is a girl, which being the medical rarity, is incredibly awesome.

Im amazed to see so many other bloggers here, but to that end, I'm not really surprised. XD

I hope to meet some of you eventually :D

I must have missed this thread, I am in Brisbane as well. Slowly decaying away in the suburbs, so got to get out of this town and into the bush.

Feel free to say hi though, like to network a little bit.

Brisbane, eh? I've a son in Brisbane. Slaving away, nose to the grindstone. I'd wager his brown belt was more significant to him right now than his doctorate. I don't know, young people today.

SOS....

I need AS peer support in the concrete sense.
Reaching out to someone in Sydney to Central Westto be with me as 'support person' ?

This is a work situation, which has been going on for some time where i feel I am cornered by a group's perceptions. This is putting my livelihood at risk, if not already crashed it.

I fell the iceberg is a big one, and I don't have the energy to navigate on my own, as has been my pattern in the past.
Having been Dx at 56 years , 2 years ago, the details that strive for understanding are too many for one to handle now., and I am just realising thru this experience that I am 'disorientated about self among others' because each waking moment i am realising for the first time the As traits that I am, that constitute who i am.

Am trying not to be doom or gloom- nor be caught up in gender/work/group dynamics among NT dominant workplaces. But, I am scared.

I hope you all can see my strength in my vulnerableness, LOL ( tho slightly hysterically).!

I would almost suggest a meeting for all the SE QLD members of the forum, but I am quite sure I would not like to organise it, or whether I am quite that social, seeing as I am neither organised or social.

Hey SG... I'd be happy to "meet up." Don't know what one does on these meet ups, but surely up for it. PrivMsg if you have anything in mind.
