Hi again Shadow Fox, I hope I'm not in trouble for bringing this back to page one! Oh well.

I'm so so sorry to hear that you had to part with your dog! I'd be so sad if that happens to me. As it is I'm living with my mum so my being able to stay with my dog (and my cat) is dependent on being able to stay with her. And she's planning to re-locate to another house soon but I don't know where. There's a lot of uncertainty. But it'd break my heart to have to part with my dog and cat. Sometimes I live in other places that don't allow pets. But recently my mum has said she won't look after them for me anymore - so I guess that's a big reason why I'm staying here. I was also living in a tent for a while - haha - another coincidence!

As for your birthday - I've known a fair few people who call Australia Day - Invasion Day. I don't mean to potentially start up some kind of political debate. I'm just suggesting - maybe in consideration for Indigenous Australians we should all be celebrating your birthday on that day instead of the invasion! haha! I'm sort of only joking - I don't mean to cause any trouble - not in this thread at least! hehe! But really I sincerely wish that happiness for you extends way beyond just that one day. And heck - for everyone else as well!

I'm not surprised at all that your sign is Aquarius. My birthday is more towards the middle of February - but yeah still Aquarius. I used to be quite interested in astrology - I didn't know heaps about it, just some things. Before I knew about the Asperger's I used to blame my star sign for some of my AS traits! Pretty funny I think!

I hope the AS doesn't make your life bleak at all. You come across as quite exuberant in your posts - but perhaps you're like me in getting excited when you first meet people? I can get a bit hyperactive (possibly way too overbearing for them) but it usually ends up fizzling out to a state of indifference. Then maybe I'm cool as, idk! That'd be cool if I was cool but I highly doubt it! lol

I'm actually staying with my father at the moment. Been staying with him since i got back from my holiday in England! Housing kicked me out of my home because i wanted to go on the holiday! Bastards!
Trying to look after my bedridden father as well witch is tough seeming i can barely look after myself!
I actually hadn't really thought about the Invasion Day thing... Hey Australia is welcome to celebrate my birthday with me! But knowing my luck i'll be shoved to the back of the crowd and try to watch it from the sidelines. lol.
For many years i couldn't figure out what element/thing Aquarius was. I kept thinking it meant water. But nope we are just the damn thing that carries it! A bowl or vase! lame... lol.
I'm quite hyperactive. The more nervous i am the worse i can get. But i'm also naturally playful. With a often cutting sense of humour and sharp whit.
The only times i'm mellow is when i'm relaxed. That's only possible with someone i know well and trust. Or when i'm by myself like now! (You must be thinking "Damn me! That's mellow?" )
My life has always been bleak i'm sorry to say! It's possibly another reason why i deflect life with humour. But my life aint over yet. So there is still hope that things might change!
I do hope for you that yours isn't bleak either!

Shadow-Fox... I like the way you roll. I may only know you from some forum posts but I like you a lot. Thanks for the welcome you gave me. And I welcome you back even though I got here after you. And now that I know your birthdays on Australia Day I will remember it and say "I better go online and wish Shadow-Fox a happy birthday!" Convienient!

Welcome to the Planet Bro. Sorry to hear about your situation man It only took me a day to get diagnosed but I showed the traits very apparently back then. Now I have learned to repress my stimming and urge to narrate my thoughts verbally in a whisper(at least when other people are around) but the point is your definitely not alone in feeling shut out of society.
