i am always zoned out....feels like i have A-D-D....my brother knows so much and talks about this and that, and i'm usually like "HOLD UP, what the hell did you just say"...and i just go back in my room and play my music haha....socially i was always that 'emo' kid....very emo...i never even knew i was emo until i found out about this site....it really opened my eyes, so i don't think i have to be diagnosed cuz everything makes sense...and it feels great for the first time in my painful life..

I don't think you can just be emo without realising it. It's a choice, a fashion trend, a scene. I only see emo as the genre so sorry if I sound arrogant.
AS and ADD have a lot in common, but I think with ADD it's a concentration thing. I always have to force myself to follow a conversation but other times when I can I can't say anything. That's usually around a group of people though. I do a lot better when I'm not looking at people.

yeah i can't look at people either, it just seems like they are laughing in my face like i have no idea what's going on and it pisses me off....and it makes me more uncomfortable when they're looking at me, i feel very uncomfortable...but i am trying to stay positive

It does sound as though there's some obstacle to normal social functioning in you.

Are you driven by a need for answers? If a problem gets under your skin, do you stay awake nights until you've mastered it?

You're welcome.
But it should be Ms. Scientist then, actually, or were you just joking calling me Mr.?
As a child I always wanted to be a boy, to be honest.
(not anymore though; I'm happy with the way I am).
;)
