That doesn't sound very hopeful to me.

Never been to Glasgow. Is it as bad as all that? People getting glassed all the time, and so on?

Well let me put it this way the pubs and clubs aren't allowed to have glass any more every thing has to be plastic and every club you go into you'll get searched for sure, the more NEDy (chavy) places all have metal detectors couse people keep bringing knives in with them
Im not saying Its a bad town but If you say the wrong thing to the wrong people things can go very badly.

But saying that Its probably not any worse than say Manchester.

Truth be told,Glasgow is mainly a cosmopolitan city and tourist
attraction with good museums,clubs,restaurants. Would agree that Manchester is a good comparison
