1. At age 27, while checking the accuracy of a newly bought measuring tape, I discovered that I was 2 cm taller than I thought I was. At age 32 I discovered that I was 1 cm taller again.
2. I do not own a bed.
3. I shaved for the first time when I was 21. (No, I did not have a beard before.)
4. I have a compass in my head.
5. I call my car by her proper name: Mystic Teal.
6. I never drink anything hot.
7. My current computer is my 8th, and the 1st laptop.
8. As a kid I could reliably distinguish colors by touch. (Maybe I still can, I haven't checked recently.)

I'm an NT with 2 adopted children....one with aspergers the other with tourettes and they are not biologically related.

No one I know understands our life.

When I was seven I built a crude biscuit vending machine out of a shoe box and a tin can so I could extract money out of my relatives.

When I was fourteen I had long hair.

When I was twenty one I accidentally cut some of the tendons in my left hand and had 3 hours of surgery to repair them.

When I was twenty eight I was working as a pianist in hotels and cruise ships.

When I was thirty five I got married to someone I had known since I was fourteen.

When I was fourty two I discussed with my wife that I thought I might be autistic.

When I am fourty nine I will feel exactly the same as when I was seven.

I always live in the present and have always felt the same age regardless of my years.

-I once spent $3,000 dollars on a telescope. I should have bought a used car instead; my girlfriend at the time would have liked that. She dumped me once for a guy with a car.

-Three years ago my hair was past my waistline.

-I used to cut my left arm with a utility knife, now there are scars all over it. This was a bizarre method for controlling my thoughts, to prevent my mind from wandering. I learned this technique from Aleister Crowley. It didn’t work.

-My YMCA Indian Guides name was Little Flying Cloud

-I was happy when the boss at my last job died in a vehicle accident.

-I was adopted so I don’t know my parents. As a child, I thought my biological mother was a fat woman who wore a flower print muumuu. In my vision of her, she had flabby arms and fat feet.

-I am the worst bandwidth abuser in my neighborhood.

My birthday falls on Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day.

-When I was younger (age 6-10) I used to drink the leftover beer that was left out by my parents in the mornings. A couple times I drank a full bottle...

-To this day I will not drink any alcoholic beverage, out of fear that I will not be able to stop once I start. My 21st birthday was a non-drinking event.

-I am not a big fan of chocolate or cola.

-I am addicted to mexican food.

-I developed, with no outside help, the equations for displaying and rotating a 3d object on a 2d plane (like a piece of paper or monitor).

-I tought myself Integral Calculus, with a little help from a text book.

-I once did math problems out of a text book, to make sure I understood the concept. This was later assigned as homework, which I turned in 1 minute after it was assigned.

-Winking is impossible for me.

Due to my fascination with mental illness, I once received a DSM-IV for christmas. ( we celebrate hanukah and christmas since my mom's side of the family is christian)

I have same last name as the famous participant in the watergate scandal (Ehrlichman)

I'm left handed

Both of grandfathers were war veterans; My mom's dad (who unfortunately died recently) He was in the navy and used to swim out into the ocean to save people from crashed airplanes during World War 2. My dad's dad was shot in his foot during the Korean War.

I drove around in a station wagon for a year and actually thought I was cool. ( I am a real rebel)

I used to play viola from 4th grade all the way up to my seinor year.

I also played bass drum in the marching band

I have 2 cousins and an aunt that are blood related and are a different race.( african-ameriican, long story)

I had my first crush in kindergarden, I was fascinated with the smell of her hair.

I had my first "girfriend" in the first grade( she was folllowing me during a field trip to the trolley museum, the other kids had to point out she had a crush on me)

When I was first diagnosed with autism my parents were told that I would never be able to do anything, and I would have to be put in an insitiution by the time I was 5. (Today Iam making my way to Honor roll status at college)

I just recently bought a 2002 nissan sentra for only $2600

I used to watch the weather channel for hours on end.

I'm related to Charles of Charleston who signed to Delclaration of Independence.

My bedroom is painted lime green.

I'm 21 years old but look more like I'm 18.

I was a whopping 9 pounds 2 ounces when I was born.( whereas my little sister was only 5 poiunds, 2 ounces)

I'm 6 foot 3 230 pounds ( even though i don't look it)

all my friends either consist of what would be considered geeks and stoners. (with the exception of one,, but haven't seen him in a while)


I am CPR/FIrst Aid certified

I took Tang so doo when I was younger, and was two ranks away from black belt when i lost interest and quit.

I got in troulbe at school once for beating up an Einstein figure( This is when i knew nothing about autism and was in total denial)

Whenever I was in first grade, I was transferred to a new school and was placed in a special ed class where I was way ahead of the game. I once made a comment to a kids, "why are you doing that, thats baby stuff", the kid tried to beat me up during recess.

I don't confine myself to labels (geek, prep, freak, jock, etc) I am just me.

Thats about all i can think of for right now.

-My favorite color is Purple

-I collect My Little Ponies' and Littlest Pet Shop stuff(Only the original lines of Pet Shop, not the new ones)
-I wear skirts, not pants
-I think that for any romantic relationship to be lasting, it needs to be based in friendship, first.
-I have been vegetarian since I was 7. No other members of my family are vegetarian

No kidding here champ..whoever came up with that "when i was a boy, i played as a boy, but when i became a man, i put away childish things" was obviously an NT.. while i don't still play with legos (although i think about it sometimes), i still feel like a kid in some respect..some of the tv shows i grew up with are coming out on dvd now, and i'm buying them up

- I have an uncanny sixth sense that is attuned to the weather... i can tell whether or not a storm is coming, and its intensity, before it even comes... however i have gotten out of sync because of the lack of storms in the area this winter...

-I love the music themes from LoZ, F-Zero GP Legend, and Shaman King.

-I own an R/C hovercraft... haven't drove it for a while though...

-I love racing... the faster the better!

-I am slightly obsessed with Japanese culture, because...

-My Aunt-in-law Yuriko, who married my Uncle Lyman, is Japanese!

That's all i have to say at the moment...

- I always wanted a RC car when I was little and never got one. Even today, if I got an RC car as a gift (or legos, oh I love legos), I would be happily entertained for months.

- I have a purple belt in Tae Kwon Do and will hopefully reach black in the next year and a half.

- I was one class short of finishing both History and German majors when I got bored with them and switched to Computer Science. So, I'll end up being in colllege for atleast 6 years (4 is "normal").

~I've hated orange juice for so many years. when i was young i would go to the fridge and smell the orange juice in the fridge , and it smelled so bad. come to find out it have vodka in it... but i never knew.. i just hated orange juice based on that memory
~the same for stew. when i went to go live with my dad.. my step mom made stew.. the whole family sat around and we all ate. i devoured mine.. then threw up all over the table!! all my new siblings turned there heads and held back their bile. it took me almost 15 years to try stew again.

~when i write i forget the "s" in stop.
