You've got me thinking Prof about Asperger's and age. I'll start another thread in the General autism discussion so as not to butt into this one.

Maybe I should change my name to "olderthandirt". :lol: I don't think I'm the oldest Aspie here, but I haven't really thought about it. Hmmm. If I am, do I get a prize? I'll check out the new age thread and see.

I'm a little concerned about Fanny though. She hasn't responded to this thread. I hope she's OK.

Sez who? Who told you this? Don't believe everything you hear (or even tell yourself).

You just did a marvlous job of relating to those of us here. (in fact, your story mirrors mine so well that it's scary)

Can't love? By whose definition? Love is a choice, that chosen enough eventually brings feelings. Keep choosing to love those around you. You know - Love is patient, love is kind, does not envy, boast, is not proud, etc. Even tho YOU don't feel it (or feel LIKE it) they will begin to accept you actions as love.

Keep relating in the fashion you have with those who WANT to relate. And keep pushing the love out there, even if it seems wooden. And I believe someone will WANT to get close to someone who does that.

My computer sometimes has problems and I can't connect to the internet.

I don't know how to say it without getting too mushy but you guys are awesome! The response I got is incredible. Thanks! I feel I can really share on this website. By the way, I am an American working in South Korea. It's a good Aspie job in front of a computer all day. I used to teach (over 18 years) but got fired from every job. Now I know why.

Anyway, I'm 51 years old. Here's my pic (if I can figure out how to do it).
