Hello all.
I'm very new here. This is my first post.
I just turned 46 yesterday (dec 5).
I live in a small house in Denmark with my partner/boyfriend of 18 years. No kids. When I was put up for disability pension by social services at age 39 (their idea, not mine) I was rather sloppily evaluated - a 1 hour unstructured talk with a psychiatrist and a 2 hour neuropsychological test by a psychologist - and was given the vague diagnosis of 'maybe schizophrenia, or more likely schizotypal personality disorder'. It never felt right to me, so I did my own research - and here I am, a self-diagnosed aspie . I'm not likely to get an official AS diagnosis, since social services see no reason to pay for that, now that I'm 'parked on the pension', and I don't have the money myself. (Ok, enough with the rambling)
Happy to be here
