What Psychological Defense Mechanisms Do You Use?

I would like to say that I also spend time outside with animals and I call this self-care or just healthy.

I would say it is a way finding balance and creating joy in life rather than a defense mechanism or coping mechanism, although I can see how some might use it to cope with a difficult time like depression or nuisance thoughts.

I am off for a walk with the dog now and hope to see/hear some birds along the way.

I'm glad Hellhole brought this thread back to life.

repression, fantasy and humor sound like the trio of my coping mechanism triforce in that order too probably
