Ich kann die Deutsche sprache nicht mehr gut verstehen. That's about the best I can do. Hope I at least got the word-order right!

The word-order is right, but you have to write: Ich die deutsche Sprache nicht mehr gut verstehen.
"Sprache" is the substantive and is written with a capital "S", deutsche is an adjective and not written with a capital letter at the beginning.
