I always say: Wear your scars with pride!. Almost all the people I have known who had a rough life were awesome people. They have more respect and overal more of an empathic ability. People who get everything thrown into their laps are jerks most of the time. I had a teachter once who had a brain tumor. He was such a nice guy. He respected me and everybody around him like equal to him. He made it through surgery thank the lord and I believe he is still alive today. The next year I had a teacher who had never been sick in his life. That man was a total jerk. He bullied weak kids and was always acting like he was more than everybody.

I always talk better with people with disabilities, they are just nicer. Also, they are much funner to be around. Normal people are so boring ;)

Have you tried making a schedule for the day? It made my life much better managable. As an example:

10:00 - 11:00 Get up, exercise, shower, make breakfast, take medication, eat breakfast
11:00 - 12:00 Computer time
12:00 - 12:30 Walk the dog
12:30 - 13:00 Clean my room
13:00 - 15:00 Play a video game
and so on.

Really helps if you have autism. Even if you don't, it's nice to have a good pattern going.

Lol I have kids so any personal schedule would not work. I do keep lists though and that seems to help with the chaos.

Pretty much what I posted here: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp6174361.html#6174361

Good questions to ask are - do you have significant and pervasive impairments?
