Why don't you check them out?

With the advent of the internet, many, many things are at your disposal.

We were fortunate to have Laurel and Hardy (and "Oliver Twist") on TV when I was a kid.

I just think Aspies would love Laurel and Hardy because of the "comedy of manners" element.

LOL.....think about it.

When I was a kid, we had

1. No internet for all intents and purposes. The internet, for most people, started about 1995.
2. No video games. We used pinball machines. Video games really started about 1979 or so.
3. No cable TV (with a few isolated exceptions). Cable became widespread in the 1980s.
4. No VCR's. They started becoming widespread in the early 1980s. Even VCR's are pretty obsolete these days!
5. No cell phones. Telephones were installed by the phone company, and we had to pay "rent" to use them. We couldn't "buy"
our own phones. They were only either on the wall or on desks. We usually had to "dial" them using our fingers. We had to put
the index finger in a hole, then sweep the dial toward 0. There were a few "touch tone" phones in the 1960s, but they were
quite expensive. Making a "long distance call" was a big deal.
6. No CD's. We had vinyl discs known as "records." They broke easily. "turntables" (record players) are only used by rap artists.
7. No home computers. Computers usually took up a whole room. If you watch an episode"I dream of Jeannie," you'll see one of
those computers.
8. The best typewriters were the IBM Selectric. Electric typewriters were a big deal.
9. A middle-class family might have 2 TV's. One was a 25"console" in the living room (which sometimes was also a record player);
the other was a 12-inch black and white in a kid's bedroom (if he/she was fortunate).
