I have been studying aircraft since I was 4 years old. What you are referring to is the "pusher" type powerplant configuration. All pusher aircraft, by way of design, make very unique sounds. Bear in mind, any propeller driven aircraft that can control it's propeller's pitch can make some very cool and unique sounds.

1.) Bird song (especially one particular bird which sounds almost like it's performing a wolf-whistle, but not quite).
2.) The wind through the leaves of a tree.
3.) The Xena theme tune.
