Mars has two moons; they are called Phobos and Deimos.

Thank you for the articles. I like the pictures. How did you get to help with the articles.

Cool! Mars is my favorite planet (besides earth) as well! Did you know that "Phobos" is also the Greek word that means "fear" and "deimos" is named because it is the Greek word for "panic?"

I have dubbed you the "Official WrongPlanet.net Space Expert" since you know so much about space! :D You can see your new title under your name and there is a picture of 5 rockets (Image) to show everyone that you are the space expert. Congratulations!

I got to help with the articles just by writing the articles and submitting them! You can edit the articles too, because it is a Wiki. That means that anyone can edit the articles just by clicking the edit button! I'm glad you liked the articles!

Congradulations Jake! Keep learning about space as long as your interested in it. Your title of "Space Expert" is well deserved. As Alex already said, Wikipedia has very much information on topics, even facts about space is included. You can add your own information on Wikipedia also.
You are now the official Space Expert of wrongplanet.net.

Maire: Hi Maire. Do you know when your sister is going to be born? It's pretty cool to have two 11 month old sisters (they turned 11 months old on the 25th.) I hope you as much fun with your baby as I do with the twins. What is your favorite thing to do? When's your birthday?

Hi Jake,
Sarah should be borne on August 23rd, my Mom is going to have a C-section. They put Mom on bedrest because her bloodpressure is too high, but Dad gave her a laptop with wireless internet so we can sit on the couch and visit internet sites without her having to even sit up! My Mom says that she knows your mom and I saw pictures of your twin sisters. They are cute! My favourite thing to do is either read or watch movies. I love the Lemony Snicket books and can't wait for the movie to come out. I also love dancing. Do you have a GameBoy? I love playing Zelda on my GameBoy and Mahjhong on my laptop computer. I also get to play The Simpsons game on the PS2 or Baldurs Gate. My birthday is February 14th, Valentine's Day! When is your birthday?

Maire (with mom, branwyn, typing)

My mother teaches 3rd grade, and she told me that she loves the Lemony Snicket books. She told me to reccomend that you read the "Tale of Desperaux" by Katie Camillo with your mother.

I play zelda on GameBoy and I love the Simpsons tv show (but I don't have the game).

Well, basically, up until now, all the space missions have been funded by the government. The United States, the Solviet Union/Russia, and the European Space Agency. All stuff funded by governments to compete with other nations or accomplish something.

But now the idea of "commercial space travel" is starting to get some attention. The idea is that instead of having the government have to be the one to do all the cool space stuff, that anyone who has the cash can do space stuff. So a company called ScaledComposites is competing to try to get the first privately funded rocket, with three people, into space.

So far, they've got a spaceship with one man in it into space, 60 miles up! It's exciting. Once there's commercial space travel, more people will be in space, etc. But it will also be, well, more commercialized, with its first purpose to make money, instead of accomplishing scientific goals. But a natural step.

Hi. I'm Michelle, the resident Ferret Expert. I used to be interested in space (1st and 2nd grade), but now I've lost interest. (No offense.) I'm 11 and going into 6th grade. And I'm still kind of steamed from this morning about one reply to one of my topics. I'm also a little upset about the whole broadcast message thing (how they removed it). So, now, I'm advertising at the bottom of my posts. *:? / :( combo* If you have any questions regarding me, ferrets, or anything like that, feel free to ask.

:!: Mich :?:

Hey all you people! I was wrong about the Addams Family poll ending today! Still, please don't vote in it, because I already posted Poll 1's results!

Hi...my name is Shayna and I am into a lot of things. Mostly, TV shows like He-Man, Pokemon, Yugi-oh, Megaman and NT-Warrior. :D I like others too, but this is an intro.

I am 12 years old and turning 13 in November. I mostly like to play on the computer. I would like to find a pen pal. :) If anyone is interested, please let me know.

I have Aspergers and ADHD and I learned about it when I was 7.

Hello to all of you out there.... :)
