We yuropoors don't truly celebrate Halloween, but I like listening to Mozart's Don Giovanni ending whenever Halloween approaches. I basically learned Italian listening to opera. I've been to Italy thrice and I know the country like the palm of my hand. Sometimes I think I should study German too, but I tend to prefer romance languages instead even though technically speaking German has an outdated declension system like the original Latin language. I obviously have an account on Duolingo, but I never tried Memrise.

I dislike Esperanto regardless of its simplicity. I find it downright ugly and soulless, it doesn't even have a real cultural background for starters and it will never be a successful communication tool unless a global dictator would impose it on everyone by force, but I doubt that will ever happen. English is pretty great except for the lack of phonetic rules and the dumb lists of irregular verbs and endless phrasal verbs, but musically speaking definitely a top notch language in my modest opinion.

I love Halloween, I pass out candy for a bit. Then I go around the neighborhood. Parties are too stimulating for me.

I don't, I think it's a pointless celebration and it is also too close to the date my mother died (29th).

we decorate our house and hand out sweets to all the trick or treaters, when i was a kid i used to go out and do that, but i cant anymore obviously haha (not really....kinda sad to be honest). my grandma is awesome at making animals, people and all sorts out of balloons, so she made some witches on broomsticks, spiders, ghosts and such and we hung them on our windows (inside the house haha). my sister has the tradition of watching "the nightmare before christmas" every halloween....sometimes twice haha

By watching a horror movie. This year it was Stephen King's Cell.

This Halloween I also spent a significant part of the evening in my AC New Leaf town celebrating Halloween the Animal Crossing way.
