Scottish aspie awaiting diagnosis

Hi! I'm new too! And also awaiting diagnosis on my early 30s. Both my psychologist and psychiatrist think I have AS, but none of them have appropriately screened me for it. I also had many issues in my last long-term relationship due to my quirks and it left me with a pretty low self-confidence. I hope it gets better sometime soon (it did for me), and that the diagnosis process keeps moving.

Denmark is pretty Ok for vegan food! We have small shops (like one called Astrid og Aporna, imported from Sweden), and quite a lot of options for places to eat; I actually think it's becoming more and more popular, since there are many vegans here that do a lot of networking. What about Scotland? I tried vegan haggis once

Mmm I love haggis! It's good, there's a shop a few miles from my home that sells most vegan essentials.

Hi! Also Scottish currently in Edinburgh, lady aspie 33y.o (undiagnosed). Just joined this group and was feeling bit lost till I found your posts, lovely seeing some Scottish people on here and makes me feel at home. I'm not sure I need or want to be diagnosed, I understand that it may help me to feel better in understanding of myself however I don't think I'd do anything with it. I don't know about you, but I feel employers, colleagues and everyone else would really unaccepting of/ misunderstand any diagnosis & 'coming out' on my part (maybe that's just me) Is Scotland a bit backwards in this area do you think? Anyway all the best, glad I've found your post

Hello I'm a fellow Scottish lol :p 25 with aspergers syndrome kinda sucks that u have to wait so long for a diagnose shouldn't they really speed all autism diagnoses up x hope u get a diagnoses soon hate the wait lol xx

Wow two years seems long to wait... But I love in the rural south of France so maybe that will take even longer...we will see. Good luck and patience be with you
