Unemployed from 2012 - 2016.
Decided to retire this year

Whereabouts in Oz are you Polly? As mentioned I am down the South Coast of NSW, but once I move up to the Nowra area will be able to catch a train into Sydney occasionally. As a fellow retiree happy to chat off-line anytime.

Actually in western Sydney, so train no problem.
I just have a little problem leaving the house alot at the moment, though I'm working really hard on that, mainly mentally, have been making small steps out with my daughter.
Huge step on Thursday as I'm visiting my father whom I haven't seen in 5 years. Though chatting sounds good if I can remember how - that's if I ever knew of course.

Used to be in aviation, and currently run an international forum for mainly retired aircrew. Don't chat too well on phone or face-to-face but find via email or a forum I do quite well. You have time to think about what you want to say, then correct spelling and grammar before hitting the send key. Sometimes I can spend an hour or so just formulating a response to a question.

Don't know if we can send PM's through WrongPlanet will have a look Polly, and if possible will send you my email address.

Yup. Compliments of my Asperger's. Never able to make friends, so would move on in the hope that wherever I was moving to the people would be more friendly. Lived on all continents except South America and the Antarctic. Never occurred to me that it was Me that was the problem, that is until I was diagnosed three/four years ago.
