I was. I had all the bears, and I loved the Care Bears TV show. Beastly and Shreeky were hilarious.

Right, black metal, sacrificing goats in the woods in the middle of the night, the one guy from Mayhem eating the other guy's brain, and the Carebears.

I never owned any Care Bear items, but I liked the first film. My favorite character was the evil magic book with the face. Haven't seen that movie since my childhood.

I recall the second movie being worse than the first. The show never did anything for me.

Ummm. No. To be honest, I don't think I have ever seen them on TV other then brief commercials. They were not really my generation as I was born in the 1970's.
Also, they wern't the same as trains! :D
