In addition to NT, one you may see sometimes is dx or its past-tense dxd. This means diagnosis or the past-tense diagnosed. BTW is "by the way." The other abbreviations you've probably already figured or will shortly such as AS for Asperger's Syndrome, ADD or ADHD for Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, OCD for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and so on.
I can relate to you about the ADD thing. I have it too and, despite the fact that I'm a good reader with good retention, I have to read very slowly most of the time- very annoying.
