Good to meet you whitedragon! As far as getting a diagnosis is concerned, do what you are most comfortable with. I had my DX earlier in the year and was very glad that I did - but we are all different. From your introduction, you sound very aspie to me .
All the best!
Good to meet you too
autodidact. Does that mean you taught many things to yourself? If so, what things? Perhaps I should go to your introduction thread and answer myself?
Your post made me re-think about DX. It sounds like a relief. Some of the replies I received made me rethink my own assessment also . . . I'm a bit confused.

I wanted to be an astronaut, until I found that they want
at least 1 (preferably 2) Doctorates
10,000 hours flying time (fighter pilots preferred)
absolutely perfect health and vision, and good psyche report (though that astronaut lover's triangle may have made things slip)
oh well...
welcome to WP...though what's so good about Word Perfect I don't know...
Thank you,
pakled. This last sentence puzzled me a little, because I wasn't sure whether you meant
1. Me (whitedragon) being Word Perfect is silly, or
2. Astronauts having to be so Word Perfect is silly,
and I gave it a good thinking last night, and this is what I figured: Pakleds are nice and harmless, they do a lot of winking, which means comradeship, so he prob. meant 2. Did I figure correctly?

Ooh, I love seeing other Japanese speakers around. Gives me an excuse to brush up on it... I was fluent but I'm steadily losing it as I don't have anyone to practise with.
It's a pity you are losing it. I believe my English is quietly degenerating too as I don't put it to use often enough. We can practise the language here if it's all right with everyone. Also, there are some Japanese language threads in the 'Espanol, . . . francaise (can't do those accents and cedillas)' forum.
