I thank the heavens that I found this site almost 2 years ago. Not only does it serve as an outlet for most, but for me it is a treasure chest full of knowledge based on first hand experiences by aspie people themselves. It's always best to learn about AS from the people who are aspies because who else knows AS better?!
Well thats what I love about WP :)

Anyway, thank you Alex :D

That's incredible, Tim! You've really seen it all.

I think you're right BTDT.

yeah. I'm about there too. I registered two days before him.

And I'm something like member #102

What are we to do for the big 0-4 coming up this summer?

I just joined today. My oldest son, age 14, was just diagnosed with AS this week. I have a lot of reading to do on the subject, and my jead is still spinning from all we have been through these last few weeks.

I wish I was a veteran sometimes.
Coming up on my one year anniversary though. I plan to reach exactly 1000 posts on that day.

To me all of you seem like veterans! I wish I'd seen this website at least a year ago, and it never ceases to surprise me when I look at the stats at the top of the page, to find that a new member has just joined in the past few minutes.

Hey welcome Kate !

First post I see - you'd better do a new topic to introduce yourself.

I did a quick google search for chat rooms for those like me, and as soon as I found wrong planet, the name told me all I needed to know. How wonderfully appropriate! It seems I've spent the last twenty-one years on the wrong planet, or voyaging through the fierce delta quadrant, and I didn't even bother looking at any of the other websites. I'm home.
