Hi, Anna!

Welcome to Wrongplanet!

You are completely right about other people with AS. They do flap their arms and hands when they get nervous about things.

When I was supposedly getting evaluated for AS, the neurologist did not state directly that I had AS. We just casually talked and he tested my senses a little. Then, he told me that he understood I had AS, and then he told me to continue the progress that I have made. I have indeed made good progress!

I hope you enjoy posting herE!

Thank you all for your warm welcomes :).

I'm going to talk to a psychiatrist on the phone tomorrow and we'll see if we have to book an apointment.

Tormod: It makes sense. I've learned to speak the truth as long as it's a nice one too. But I didn't do that as a kid. I was brutally honest. I sometimes just talk today too tho.

You sound heaps like me. I'm also a media student and I also have that same 100% concentration thing when I'm making movies and can't stop talking when I get a good movie idea. My cousin is a big fan of Lordi (but I'm not quite obsessed). I also get obsessed with movies/characters/music. Your social life also sounds pretty similar, since I am sort of a class clown in school but keep to myself when I go home (and don't like going out if I haven't planned it). I also never talk to new people unless they talk to me (and then it's fine). I try to find the happy medium between talking without thinking and thinking without talking. I took ages to learn the clock (analogue) and only recently started buying my own clothes (but they're all eccentric costume-like stuff). When I was little I'd never lie, but I guess I've become a bit more tactful (but not much). That is pretty wierd.

I also love soundtrack/instrumental music, if that's something you also relate to. What sort of movies do you make?
