That sounds really neat- a 'support system' and a best friend! Many of us have never achieved either of these.

It was weird at first, the way we would see the world in almost the same way. Later, during our research stages of the Aspergers discovery, a lot of things started making more sense. How I could tell what was upsetting her when she didn't want to talk, or how she understood my side when someone was mad at me for saying something 'rude.'
