As much as I love some anime (I mean, I have one of my favourite manga characters as my current avatar, mercenary surgeon Black Jack), I prefer British television. Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Monty Python...

Oh, and fourx? Kerr Avon was one of the main characters from Blake's 7. A sardonic and amoral computer hacker, he was roped into helping revolutionary Roj Blake fight against the Federation. Played brilliantly by a man called Paul Darrow. I put a link into his name with my post, which links to a YouTube video showing 8 minutes of Avon snarking at people. Here it is for clarification...

Doctor Who seems to be very popular on WP... it is quite embarrasing to say this but I only heard about it after joining WP, have never heard people talking about it in uni before Where can I find it? is it on national tv?

I meant what subject are you studying. I did a Bachelor's of Health Science and a Master's of Medical Research...

The latest series of Doctor Who is currently on at 7:30 PM on a Sunday on ABC1. This week's episode? The Vampires of Venice. It's the one they are going to transmit in the UK tonight (The Hungry Earth) that I am really looking forward to.

But if you have a membership at the Gold Coast City Council libraries, they have a lot of Doctor Who DVDs. PM me for recommendations.

Best to stick to the Gold Coast, melbi, politicians in NSW can be a real pain in the arse, if the headlines are any indication.
