Why are you here? First, because my kids were diagnosed. Then my husband was. And now, I just found out that I, too, have Asperger's.

Favorite subjects: History (Middle Ages), Foreign Languages, foreign studies (of people and their cultures and customs)

Favorite music: All kids except opera, jazz, rap, reggae, country. Currently I listen to Muse, Loreena McKenitt, Cold Play, Josh Groban

Books: Mostly history and biographies, but I do love the Odd Thomas series and the Twilight series.

Clothing: Love the look of beautiful dresses, but can't stand the feel of being dressed up. I love shoes, but most are uncomfortable. In dressing, I opt for comfort, which makes me look a bit sloppy.

Why are you here?
I think I may have Asperger's. I decided this yesterday. I've never been diagnosed. All the stuff I've been reading in the past day really speaks to the difficulty I've had moving through society.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I was diagnosed (I'm thinking now possibly incorrectly) for ADD back in 1998

Favorite subjects: politics, philosophy, feminism, theology especially Judaism, math

Year/Grade: Just gone back to school, hopefully I'll finish it this time. :/ I'm majoring in women's studies and philosophy. I'm also thinking about minoring in statistics.

Favorite music:
This is one of my biggest hobbies. I listen to all sorts of things and often travel with the intent to attend live shows. My biggest areas of interest are early rock 50's/60's, guitar virtuoso music, and British pop. Some of my favorite artists/composers in no particular order are:
