I assumed you were a radio DJ on a classical music station. You kinda remind me of Howard Stern on his best behavior(I guess not acting).
I can't tell you how weird it is to me that anyone would see any commonality between me and a media creature. That is so utterly opposite to my own perception of myself that I just scratch my head. Maybe there's an objective truth here that I'm incapable of seeing, just as a skeletal anorexic looks in the mirror and sees a fat person. Who knows what the real truth is? Wouldn't it be a grim joke if I spent my life hiding unnecessarily? Well, one of the gifts I do not lack is an appreciation of irony.

Heh heh, actually I do look something like Howard Stern. If I styled my hair and put on sunglasses, I might pass for him.

Johnny Carson use to say he was a very shy person. And there is atleast one actor
Dan Aykroyd who reports to have AS.

What Pseudo is saying is spoton & I think this thread shows it, many AS ppl seem to see faults that just aren't there. Some of us are camera shy, yet some ppl did great videos & then said they 'suck at this', are unfomfortable/dislike their voices, etc.. Reminds me of a speech class I had, where I realized how much ppl often detract from their speech by revealing they 'messed up', when if they just felt good about their speech, everyone else in the room does also. I guess that's part of the struggle with AS, is telling yourself you failed socially all the time, when NTs prolly 'perform worse' than us at times, they just move on easier. Bottom line, these videos are great, good idea & all of you are creative & some of you even are great speakers.

I agree that Pseudo has those vocals that are strong & intelligent, but also mellow & make you wanna listen. I also thought Amy Gravino's rant reminded me of talk radio, maybe Amy can be the first successful talk radio woman.. hey you can replace Al Franken, can't do much worse than him, lol. Seriously, who thought ppl with Aspergers could be 'Smooth Talkers'? Well in the literal sense, not the mainstream one.

Of course, plenty of "normal" people are self-critical, but I suppose it's an aspie trait that it becomes a debilitating thing and we just give up. Even so, a degree of self-criticism is essential. I hate it when people seem incapable of understanding they have room for improvement.

A comment to those who say, "I don't have a camera."

One option, for those who are curious but don't know what they're doing, is to forget about buying the "right" camera and just buy the cheapest camera and use it as a learning experience.

I glanced at Amazon, for example, and I see you can get this Microsoft LifeCam for $34.99, with free Super Saver Shipping and a $15 rebate, so your final cost is $19.99. (This is a PC-based webcam (as opposed to a stand-alone camera). Glancing at the feedback, it may be that a WinXP PC is advised.)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EVM5DK/

Something like this will give you full audio-video functionality. You might get snazzier bells and whistles if you spend more money, but it will be fundamentally the same thing.

Of course, you'll have to be a bit PC-savvy to set it up and capture (and maybe edit) and upload video. Well, either you can get over that hump or you can't.

Being inspired by my earlier comment about webcams, I decided to post another video.

I tried to look up that magnetic Hysteresis Loop tracer but I could not find a wikipedia article to dumb it down for me. My guess its some device used to test
magnetic cores in a laboratory or perhaps in production testing of the cores?

Yeah good job again on your new video. Myself I'm a little shy about getting a webcam and showing myself. But I'm interested in filming something in the real world and posting it. I might barrow my 4 year old nephews mini video camera(yes he has one).

interesting, i haven't understood what the object is (i'm not english, and have not understood the word you called it either, seems like an interesting book, looks a bit like an intellectual Scarry-book, and a beatiful cat! (funny when you said 'all aspies are watching you now' :-) )

you have a nice new avatar!

it's now snowing here and i recorded this but i fail to put the sound with it on my computer, if i read it in a videoprogram i can hear the sound without problem, but these programs are not saving it. and if i just drag it from the camera to the computer the sound is lost :(

maybe someone knows a program that loads video from a photocamera (it's already an old one too and i lost the installation cd that goes with it) or another solution to this problem?

These are not very personal, but they're all I got for now. When (and if) I get my digital camera fixed, I'll post a video of me showing my collection of Gameboys. (Which is my current obsession (: )

Two videos of me performing Gameboy music live:

That's very good stuff. You kept my attention almost the entire time. I was busy trying to put the tail on my collectionable Ceberus from Final Fantasy 8. I hadn't gotten the tail on yet.
