its making me laugh people saying "you look great" because everytime i look underneath someone's pic it says "you look great" and im thinking "i bet it will say that underneath the next picture " and you know.... it did lol

1) I don't want to be judged for how I look (as in treated better or worse because of how attractive people think I am, for example); I want to be judged for my words instead.

2) This site has a lot of members. This increases the probability of someone I know from real life finding me here. That wouldn't necessarily be a big deal, but I like to be able to post about all kinds of things with as much anonymity as possible.

However, I could be being excessively paranoid.

I do understand what you mean. But then again, if I met someone from real life here, the ice would already be broken for me to be like "Hey I have Asperger's Syndrome", since to most of the uneducated populous that would sound like a negative mental disorder.

A couple of years ago, my friend took this photo of my friend and myself, clothed in the robes of state so to speak. Don't ask, we just do things like this sometimes.

I had a picture of me as my Avatar that I thought had a nice smile but I feel self conscioius about it.
My friend calls me a Ken doll. Another friend says hes just jealous.
Good or bad we can't help what we look like. We can tweak it a bit.
I would post a pic here but I don't know how. Another aspie gave me instructions on how to change avatars. Thats about as much as I can handle.

I feel like I look generic. Thats why I like doing make up on myself.
I'm always saying oh, I like this GI Joe because he looks like me. She says "hes goy brown hair and no beard and hes white thats all. " I say yeah thats all I am.

The two pictures I do have where I look "handsome" my photographer friend took so I could use them at acting auditions.
I think an Avatar or my artwork is more the real me.
Like Van Goghs bedroom has always been more of a picture of him in my eyes than his self portraits.
