Hobbies and Interests: Sporadic and ill-defined. I like to cook, have an interest in computing and computers and the web, in general. I also like to fish, but rarely get the chance.Oh, also camping, hiking, that sort of thing.
Why are you here? It has been suggested (primarily by my wife) that I am very likely AS, albeit undiagnosed as of yet. I need help and this may well be a solid resource. I don't know yet.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Yet to be diganosed. How do I go about that exactly?
Favorite subjects: Geography, economics, me.
Year/Grade: I have a B.S. in Geography (GIS/RS/Cartography) with a minor in Mathematics. That's about it.
Favorite music: Both kinds *grin*. I like just about all music, but I am particularly fond of Texana, New Orleans groove, folk, various Brazilian genres (esp. Bossa nova, forró, samba, choro, and sertanejo), Lounge. what is now labeled as 'Americana'. and, I guess, 'World Music'.
Books: Heart of Darkness, Sometimes a Great Notion, Life on the Mississippi, A Confederacy of Dunces, Catch-22, Any Vonnegut, Any Saroyan, Any Steinbeck
TV shows/Movies: TV shows: MST3K, King of the Hill, Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast
Movies: Cinema Paradiso, To Live, Time of the Gypsies, Saudade do Futuro, Les Miserables, Meatballs

Do you like sports? Yes, but not really into spectator sports or talking about them, etc.
Family: I am married to a woman 6 years my younger and have a 7-year old son and a 5-year old son. The eldest boy is diagnosed as severe HFA.

Job: I am a Research Analyst II (GIS) for the California Wildlife Conservation Board. Needless, to say, I have issues...
Plans for the future? Wow, that's a biggie. Uhh, lately I am trying to focus on living one day at a time, etc.
