Why are you here? I think I may have aspergers and the forum discussions have helped me figure out how to act in certain situations.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I haven't been, yet. Although, I fit a lot of the descriptions of Aspergers that I've read.

Favorite subjects: Geology, math, history

Year/Grade: grad school

Favorite music: Anything that's on the radio. Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Tchaikovsky when I am trying to write.

Books: Anything by Agatha Christie, Rita Mae Brown or Lilian Jackson Braun; history books and some fiction.

TV shows/Movies: Star Trek, Grey's Anatomy, Heros, Nova, National Geographic, Masterpiece Theater

Instrument: I used to play piano

Do you like sports? I like swimming. It can be fun to watch the futbol games on my local spanish language channel.

Any comments?: I would describe my self as a tall version of Al Lamberts in Step BY Step. Tomboyish, sarcastic, can sometimes seem cruel, but I never am. I am 6'2-6'3 tall (189 cm). Live in Wisconsin, where I'm also born, but lived many places (Ohio, Texas, California and Norway).

What part of Texas did you live in? I have lived in Houston most of my life, but lived in Wichita Falls and San Marcos before,

Lived in Pasadena, outside of Houston for one and a half year, from winter 1992 until summer 93. Moved from there to Norway because my dad got a job there, and we wanted to be closer to our Norwegian family. Moved back in 97, and lived in US since.

What is your first name? My first name is Morgan. It is ambiguous and my parents would have named me this, even if I was not male.

Age: I am 15 years and 12 days old.

Location: Leiden.

Hobbies and Interests: Bombers, space shuttles, birds.

Why are you here? I am here to study people and discuss.

When were you diagnosed? I was diagnosed at the age of 8;5 and 13, with ADHD and PDD-NOS respectively.

Favorite subjects: Physics and mathematics, but with physics only the chapters with molecules and atoms.

Year/Grade: The schooling system in the Netherlands is different from that in North America in many ways.
First way, age at which children start school which is 4 years here, but my birthday is odd and I started school in the middle of a school year and I had to be there longer than normal.
There is a primary sort of school where children go to for 8 years, then a secondary school where children go either 4, 5 or 6 years depending on how well they can handle pressure, work-wise.
I am in the secondary school in the 3rd year. I plan to stay there for 3 more years.

Favourite music: Animal Collective and Radiohead and Four Tet.

Favourite books: Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

TV shows/Movies: Birdy, Cold Case, things about nature and technology.

Favourite instrument: I like using electronical intruments and electric guitars, samplers.

Family: My alive family consists of: Mother, father, sister, grandfather, great grandfather, grandmother, 8 uncles and aunts (I do not know how many of each gender) and a lot of cousins of which one is my favourite and he is the son of one of my aunts from my mothers side and he is 5 years older than me and he is taller than me but he is also autistic and we get along well and we have had many happy times.

Clothing: I like wearing anything with long sleeves and long trousers and a red shirt.

I'm not exactly new (I used to be Birdgirl but I doubt anyone remembers) but I haven't posted in a year, so. Might as well introduce myself again:

Favorite music: I don't have favorite genres or even favorite bands really. I like things from all genres. Some bands/artists I especially like are Depeche Mode, Sneaker Pimps, VNV Nation, VAST, Hum, CocoRosie, Buckethead.. and lots lots more. and I generally like any folk metal, trip-hop, ska and shoegaze.

Books: Don't have the attention span for heavy reading; most of my reading is done online due to poor library selection and lack of funds. (ebooks, or just random research. I especially like victorian-era occult books/general esoterica)

Why are you here? I reallt don't know.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): We had been trying to figure out what was wrong with me since I was an infant. Many years of psychiatrists and drugging later, I got diagnosed at age 12.

Favorite subjects: Computer Science. Math is cool too.

Year/Grade: Year of 2008

Favorite music: I like a lot of different stuff. Mostly rock/metal though.

Books: Eh, not much anymore.

TV shows/Movies: Heroes, Scrubs, Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park. Young frankenstein, Monty Python, American Psycho, Boondock Saints.

How did you find this website? A friend told me about it in highschool when he found out I was an aspie too.

Job: None. Still. It's hard when you have no experience, no references, and keep shutting down during the few interviews you get. I swear I'm gonna be homeless soon.

Plans for the future? I'd LIKE to go to college and be a game developer. Kinda hard with no money, no job, no scholarships.
