Ah, yes, but I would be hypnotized and get nothing done. At the moment, I am extremely tired and just taking a quick glance at the cradle almost knocked me out.

Talk about phantom failures, the cable modem got hung-up again, right while I was sending my last
post above. Fortunately it was reset by unplugging and replugging the modem and router power connections.
These hang-ups are becoming more and more frequent.

Godwit left a rather ambiguous post:

Dear sinsboldly:Sorry, but this really is the first site I ever posted at, and I never exchanged emails with people I didn't know until 4 weeks ago either, and that's the way my brain organizes words (like in little tiny bits, and there's a lot of empty space in there) and then it just gets typed out that way. What's bandwidth? So, whatever it is, I just compressed some of my previous entries here so they are unintelligble to me, but maybe that's better for others. OK? Sorry to start off your morning with shaving. - Alan (obviously not the other one)

OK.

This is getting really bad now.

This is far worse than doing bunnies.

I really don't do compliments at all.

Ever.

So, the only thin thread of hope I can hold onto is that within a few moments, hours or days, when you finally realize exactly who you're dealing with, you'll come to your senses and TAKE THAT BACK.

My God, woman! Do you realize the trouble you're causing?

You're rending apart my known universe, here.

Hey, I am good at rending apart known universes, other Alan.

I cut my teeth on it.
. . .

. . .
. .

Oh no!

It's even worse than I could ever have imagined.

I'm speachless!
I will be glad to self compress the white spaces for my own consumption, Godwit.

And I will be fine in typing

in plenty of white space so your eye can easily follow it.

(if you place your cursor on the emoticon above this sentence it will say in a word what the emoticon means.)

I find it very helpful when trying to "see" the inflection and meaning the words are trying to evoke.

I find it teaches me rudimentary body language

(now that I am in my post diagnosis phase,

and the novelty of 'being an Aspie' has worn off, like so much pink fog)

so I am willingly changing the way I work with people.

learning social language

learning slowly and with difficulty to be able to actually communicate

with Nanarob and CosmicCat

and Lauri and DeaconBlues and

Chuck and Nan and

PostPaleo (I call him Postie for reasons I have long since forgotten. . .)

and even krex and Hartzospace and

our YowingCat and Zannemarie

and Lau

and probably more

and now Godwit

Sounds like Postie is turning into more than just a zombie. 8O HI, MERLE!! I saw you there. Nan, how was your day? I think I may need to lock up one of my sons until puberty passes. He made me so mad this afternoon!!

The middle kid, Soccerdude, had a leadership retreat at his new highschool and he chooses to spend the afternoon holding hands with some little manx!! The principal's son is friends with Soccerdude so he gave me that little tidbit while I was looking for the little monster to pick him up. I waited an hour, we were all looking for him and he was at the back of the school hanging out with 3 girls. I'll bet I can find a male chastity belt!! !
