I watch Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law all the time, and I can't for the life of me remember what the name is of the guy on your avatar.

Hobbies and Interests: Musicals, TV, Film, Reading, Art History, Religious History, Photography.

Why are you here? My psychologist recommended this forum to meet other people with Asperger's.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Last week

Favorite subjects: History, Art.

Year/Grade: I'm not in school.

Favorite music: Musical soundtracks, Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Madonna

Books: Crime Novels, Autobiographies, History books.

TV shows/Movies: TV - SVU, Criminal Intent, Castle, CSI, 24, West Wing, Dexter, House, Glee. Movies - ET, The English Patient, Bourne Series, lots of others.

Instrument: I played trumpet in school a long time ago but wasn't very good.

Do you like sports? I like watching tennis but I'm not good at playing any sport.

Family: I'm the youngest of 4 children.

Clothing: I don't like patterns and only wear mostly blue. I like jeans and tshirts that are comfortable.

How did you find this website? My psychologist recommended it.

Job: I work for a home-based call centre part-time.

Plans for the future? On 30 August I am starting a distance education University course in Art History and Religion that I wanted to do my whole life but never thought I could do it.

lol, well his name is Falcon 7, from a really old cartoon called The Adventures of Birdman which is what Harvey Birdman is a parody of. I never really watched Harvey Birdman (I don't care much for the cartoons on Adult Swim), but I used to like watching Birdman just for Falcon 7. He's cool, mysterious, smokes a pipe, and wears an eyepatch. How can you not like him even if he had no personality or character development whatsoever?

So I just started using him as my main avatar for all my profiles. I always get people asking me who he is.

Why are you here? - I want to learn more about Autism/Aspergers because I want to be a special education teacher. Also I have Aspergers syndrome.

Favorite subjects: In school? I'm not a big fan of the classes I had in school, but I love History!

Favorite music: I don't like specific genres. I like specific artists/bands.

Books: - with information that I'm interested in.

TV shows/Movies: I like cartoons and pretty much anything on the History channel or National Geographic channel.

Instrument: don't play one.

When were you diagnosed? (skip if you don't have a disorder): I haven't been officially, but I'm scheduled for testing this fall.

Favorite subjects: Economic development and the eradication of poverty

Year/Grade: I graduated from HS 20 years ago, went to college for a bit and dropped out... in early 2010 I went back to school and I'm slated for graduation at some point in the next five years or so with some sort of a degree or another...

Favorite music: Indie/folk/rock (Ingrid Michaelson, Ani DiFranco, etc) - and silly pop/rock (They Might Be Giants, Barenaked Ladies, etc)

Books: Mostly books about economics, economic theory and poverty. Some autobiographies, and rarely fictional short stories with a smart humorous bent (like Sedaris). Also poetry books and lately I've been collecting my old favorite classic children's books for my future children.

TV shows/Movies: I am guilty of watching Hulu and Netflix obsessively, but not really a TV watcher. If I had cable and a DVR, that would change. I like foreign and indie films of all types, but rarely like campy comedy and don't ever watch horror movies. They make me vomit.

Do you like sports? Not at all

Family: I'm the oldest of four in a weirdly put together blended family.

Clothing: I would wear pretty much the same thing all the time if it were up to me, so every once in a while I convince someone to give me a make-over and give me new ideas, which I don't really take... but I do it anyway. Always natural fibers, but never silk/satin. Gross.

Hobbies and Interests: graphic design, computer repair, bass guitar, music (alternative, rock, class rock - mostly obscure stuff), politics

Why are you here? I've been diagnosed with AS. My youngest boy, 5 years old, has been diagnosed with Autism - high functioning. If my oldest boy, 9 years old, isn't an aspie I'll eat my keyboard. We're working on an assessment for the oldest child.

Favorite subjects: Education, local politics, raising children with special needs

Year/Grade: Heading back to school soon.

Favorite music: (see above) Favorite bands - Muse, R.E.M., Silver Sonic Pickups, Elvis Costello, U2, Vampire Weekend, Iron & Wine, Great Big Sea, etc.

Books: Currently reading the Sookie Stackhouse series

TV shows/Movies: Not big on either; can't watch it for long. Sometimes I'll go to a movie but it's for the kids - like Shrek or Toy Story.

Year/Grade: Er... went to college. Hated that too.

Favorite music: Mostly late 70's, early 80's rock and metal, but I listen to a wide range of genres. AC/DC is my favorite band.

Year/Grade: Didn´t enjoy any year paticularly I did them because I had to.

Favorite music: I can listen to most kinds of music but I preffer punk/rock my favourite band is Green Day.

Books: Fantasy, from time to time a romance novel but I´m trying to stop reading those.

TV shows/Movies: shows: Family Guy. Futurama, The Big Bang Theory, The IT Crowd. Movies: Amelie, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, you have got mail and a few others.

Instrument: I am unable to play instruments unless rockband counts on which case guitar.

Do you like sports? I play sports whenever I can and I enjoy watching a good soccer match every now and then on tv.

Family: 2 cats, parents and 2 sisters.

Clothing: depends on the day but most of the time a shirt thats related to one of my big interests(Fanily guy, music etc) and some jeans do the job.
