Hi Nannarob, glad to see you back :D .

I posted my Aspie Nation"(ala "Alien Nation",anyone remember that show?)As a sticky in General Autism forum.Hope you all will visit(shameless promotion,I know)but I respect all your insights and hope for some suggestions.I do realize I sound insane, kind of use to that, but if we dont dream, what will change,(other than getting carpel tunnel and more wrinkles.)This wasnt the actually "idea" that I woke up with,so excited, this past week....but it is what I want to put the money towards,if my idea actually works.

I am NOT a natural leader and hope someone else will take up the war cry,(someone who doesnt want to shower when it rains or live in tents,on a boat or our own Island, reinacticing "Lord of the Flies",right down to the pig hunting). We are the elders(and I still collect plushys 8O ),surely we have something to offer in the way of practicle suggestions?I still have a few labors of hard labor in me and I would prefer putting it towards something with more of a future then the SSI,I will probably never see.A big part of the plan is a retirement place for the "elders".Just because I call it a commune(did I?),doesnt mean we have to mingle, many things can be done over the inter-net,no different then we do here now. Those who can bare it can mentor in the flesh, the rest can offer help from the comforts of their current homes or in town over the net.

Well, enough, half the problem is my verbosity.I sure I have scared off any of the ADDers with my mile long posts.

Hartz I saw you post else where this week, I saw, I just didn't know what to say and am sooo pleased you're on the up. You sure sound it.

Merle I swear, kiddo, it's a damn good thing we don't live close, I'd be kicken NT butt on your behalf. Man I hate that kind of thing.

I saw some post on the main site header, something about an Aspie Service Dog. I figure I have one. His name is Ike, he probably wieghs about 150 pounds + and not full grown. I walk down the street and others cross the street. I think he would be considered a "personal space" dog. I wonder if that would get him in the grocery store when I have to do it.

Thanks, Postie! I was fortunate to find someone who spent nearly three hours with me on the phone, until I "de-compressed." It helped enormously.

marijuana seeds! they make wild birds (and caged birds ) sing their bloodyheads off~

they have it in the 'song bird mix' but they have to sterilize the seeds so they don't grow

For some reason, I found this really funny. Started imagining all these stoned birds flying around, crashing into windows and each other.

It's good to be back. Luv ya all.

Does anyone know why Sleepy Dragon isn't posting?

I 'zoned out' all day yesterday as I drove from Miles to home. I took about 6 hours to do the trip with an hour's break at Dalby.

Jim and I met at a 3 teacher school in Condamine, outside Miles in 1968. Jim is now on a bike ride from Miles to Mooloolaba with about 1000 other intrepid riders. The ride will take 9 days.

I had to drop Jim and bike at Miles, so we took the opportunity to speak to the kids at the Condamine School while we were there. We stayed for an hour and met the beautiful bush kids there- so different from city kids. Jim entertained them in his own unique style.

I was lost in nostalgia. It was the place where we met, and we married while there. We lived among some beautiful people and we were young! So this old body remembered youth and the absolute love of a job when there was plenty of energy.

I drove home through cattle and wheat properties and small towns that had not changed much in nearly 40 years. I have my father's bush blood in me and think I would have done well on a farm (where no animals would be killed for meat.) I always yearn for the bush but married Mr Suburbia!

I will visit your site soon Krex, but just for a few more hours I want to live in my head and smell the land.

Thanks for your words, Postie.

Blessedmom went school supply shopping in the busiest mall in town. Blessedmom was having a meltdown by the time she got back. Blessedmom got home only to hear that the parent of one of her friend's dayhome children was found dead in the park today. Blessedmom is opening the bottle of wine that has been in her cupboard for a year. I'll have one for you Nan.

I sure don't.

Wow, nine days on a bike in your neighborhood? Ah, youth where did you go? Spent two wonderful parts of a couple of summers in upstate New York with bikes. It would be such a pleasure to meet the both of you.

You shouldn't have said that, Postpaleo. I have never wanted to go to America until I met you all on WP.

Blessed Mom, I'm sorry to hear your news. I've just sent you a pm on trivial matters which you can now ignore. I'll have a drink with you later tonight.

I got a hand-me-down mobile from my brother. But the Motorola he gave me beats that clapped out Nokia I had. And I figured out how to customise it using files on the computer. Now mah phone's all pimped ahp, yo? Dalek wallpaper, the Doctor Who theme as a ringtone, and Mr Saxon yelling "HERE COME THE DRUMS!" as an SMS notfication.

My door is always open for my friends on WP, always. Just don't tell me you're coming so I'll really be there. But the door is always open, don't need locks when there's a mad man with a shotgun and very large dog and a Wife that has a black belt of the nineth order, in the age old chinese secret art of, cast iron frying pan. She also knows how to use knitting needles, she's a terror, let me tell you.
