This is an excellent suggestion. However, not the good timing unfortunately, with the holidays and celebrations.

I believe we should organise some kind of a local meeting in January. After all, if we never interact, what's the point of posting in this topic in the first place.

 Hi, I'm from Cairns, Far North Queensland. All this is pretty exciting. I've not been diagnosed with autism but I truly wonder what these 'signs' are that people use to communicate with each other (NS's). Does this make me an aspie? And I have had great difficulty in learning to tell a lie. It's not good to always tell the truth, it makes people suspicious. (lol!)

Hey, the biggest mystery to me is how the NT dating game works, people just give so little and freak out so much when I get enthusiastic about stuff I like (Pretty much everything! except politics, I hate politics). I wasn't ever going to try internet dating again but the real test of me being an aspie is if the aspie dating service makes sense! I'll keep you all posted. 8) Ha!

Holidays are over, it's time to bring back this project ! I am eager to meet fellow Aspergians or non NT to see what happens.

So, who would like to come to an unofficial WP meeting in Melbourne ?

Come on, don't be shy !

The difficulty will be to find a venue suiting everyone. Maybe a museum or an exhibition for starters ?

You're going to have to suggest a specific place and approximate date and time for people to consider and think about beforehand (especially with us Autistic/Aspergian people).

Would the city be a good area to meet? Or maybe outside of it?

I can help you with suggestions if you are willing/ready to take the lead.

Yes, yes !

Good conversation beginning there.

CBD would be a better gathering point. More activities, more transports, easier to find your way... I suppose not everyone has a car.

Dates: I suggest tomorrow for both of us, MCavalera and I, if you agree. We should sort this out in MP, see if we have common interests and such.

and next week end, saturday or sunday, for a bigger group, provided more people express their interest.

I agree that we should setup a venue and a date according to each "phobia" or "special needs or request" we all have, like for example agoraphobia or vertigo or whatever.

Make a step forward, people, and start new relations IRL :)
